Unfortunately, the quality of the food, service and overall experience was pretty average compare to the last time I was there a year ago. I was super hungry but I haven't even finished the meal. The salad was noticeably old. Not coming back.
Toasted pita was stale. Grain salad was old, soggy, with brown cucumber. Burger was cold with no filling. No check backs from staff.
The chicken tastes so good and nice! Every bite was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving delicious chicken. Will definitely be back.
Disappointing experience, first of all the chicken wings came cold, if it was freshly cooked why is it cold? The waitress had to reheat it for us. the broccolini was dry, tough and not fresh, when I informed them he said that’s how they get provided and argued that it is all good. The only good thing was the corn. Will not be coming back, poor service and poor quality of food, no wonder they had to downsize the restaurant
Our recent visit to Nandu Restaurant at Sylvia Park in Auckland left us thoroughly impressed! The star of our dining experience was undoubtedly the whole chicken with pita bread. From the very first bite, it was clear that we were in for a treat. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the pita bread added a wonderful touch to the meal. However, I found that the chicken served was not up to the same standard as what I have experienced from this franchise before. On a positive note, the vegetables served were fresh, which added a touch of goodness to the meal. Overall, while the restaurant has appealing aspects, the chicken quality might need some improvement to match the expected standards from the franchise.
7pm Wednesday night. Walk in. No chicken, no halloumi, no spicy rice. Just under $30 for a burger with drink and fries with a shared plate of 4 boneless thighs. ($60 for 2 people). Lots of fries, kumara chips were nice, but chicken in the blat wasn't great and thighs were tiny. Plates just put on the table without telling us what anything was ( mixed ours up with another party at our table). Nandos sadly became a Nandont
Good food, service was in good time too. Did have some issues with speed of service a few months ago but they seem all good now. Nandos has a hand washing station for customers which I always appreciate though on this occasion the paper towel dispenser was broken so made do with napkins. Food was great though, tasty and the chips were nice and fresh.
