I had lunch there yesterday, cost me $16. The food was revolting. nothing tasted nice, not even the veges, or the selection of different meats, I took. It was too salty, and it had one taste of soy sauce. I was so angry with myself, that I bought it.
Ordered a beef rice noodle. It was extremely dry and cold. Seemed like they just put the buffet food on plate and serve. Thought it should be made to order, right? Very disappointed. Will NEVER buy from here again
My friend ate here today 23/3/19 at around 5pm as we were seated in front of the stall eating I could see one of the lady staff cleaning the containers and using a cloth to to wipe the glass on top of the food, all the dirt she was wiping off fell on the food. The guy staff then kept on mixing the food. Feeling sick looking at it I came and told the girl all the dirt she’s wiping is going to their food and that it could cause their customers to get sick but she did not have a care in the world. She just kept on saying “the cloth is dry” OMG!! I told her I could see it from afar because of the light, so much dust/dirt went to the food but she did not listen. When I came back to sit she just went on wiping the dirt and using a solution spraying like there’s no food that could get contaminated. Almost everyone stopped eating their plates when she did this. This is so disgusting, management should have a look at this urgently. I’m looking at all the other reviews online and I’m not surprised how a lot of people who eat here end up with food poisoning.
I’m surprised about the bad reviews for this place! This is my favorite Chinese place in Auckland. Great selection. Nice sauces. I like the spring rolls, marinated beef, lemon chicken, and egg foo young. I think it’s reasonably priced (for NZ) and you can pile up your plate as high as you like. I can’t attest to their purported lack of hygiene, but if they were so bad, wouldn’t the health department shut them down? They’re probably just as hygienic as any other restaurant.
Well, I just paid $12.50 for a teeny plate of veg (about eight pieces of broc and bits of carrot) and could not eat their egg omelette because it is bulked up with FLOUR. I am gluten intolerant, and it took just a minute for air to fill my stomach and chest. Never coming back here.

My mates and I had lunch here and all went away with very serious food poisoning that lasted over a week. We even later observed them scooping dropped food from an unhygienc countertop back into the hot-plates for people to eat. Absolutely disgusted - will never eat here again.
