   We were craving fish and chips so we thought of giving this place a try and we didn’t regret it. The taste was pretty good, the fish was crispy, flaky and fried to perfection.

   We ordered hoki and dory fish with chips, cheese burger with beef patty and a fish burger. Everything was delicious. Fish was so crispy and the batter was just perfectly seasoned. We ordered takeaway and he nicely packaged and it was fresh and crispy 20 minutes later too. It's a simple local joint, neat and clean. The uncle who runs it is also very kind and courteous. Halal batter and beef so another big perk.

   Had a crispiest chips ever there, even after 15 min still was crispy. Crunchy and tasteful. Good service. Went back again this time for fish. OMG, the fish batter was very thin and crispy. Unbelievablely delicious! Like to try Oyster next time.

   A humble outlet run by a gem of a person, tasty food prepared using fresh ingredients I have visited the outlet many times tried hoki and snapper with chips. In addition, I have tried squid and sausages. The food here is delicious and I will keep visiting this place periodically. Great place serving scrumptious food.

   Nana’s Fish House is a true local gem! Uncle, who runs the place, is from Turkey and serves up some of the freshest fish around: perfectly cooked, not greasy at all, with a golden crunchy batter. The atmosphere is a simple, no-frills local joint, so don’t expect anything fancy, but the food is absolutely delicious. Please support Uncle and this wonderful spot. We’ll definitely be back!

   This place is so underrated, don’t judge a book by its cover! We’ve been here for fish and chips twice now! Fish is super delicious - melts in your mouth. Such good value packs that ensure there’s something for everyone. We got “F5” - 2x fish, 2x spring rolls, 3x nuggets and a scoop of chips for $21 which was plenty for the two of us. We will be back soon :)

   Owner told us that he uses fresh fish and never used frozen fish. fish is fresh and generous in size compared to other fish and chips place. $9.99 for 2 fish+chips is pretty good value. we liked the flexibility to be able to change to twisted fries and kumara chips if u top up the price difference. we liked it so much that we visited this place 3 times during our short stay in auckland. first 2 times, was hoki, the 3rd time was another type of fish. we liked the hoki version more. twisted prawns had real prawn wrapped with popiah skin. If fish could be less oily, if chips could be more generous it would be perfect. when we found this place, the shop looks close as the interior was dark and no open door to enter, and after some figuring out, realised it's actually open. u need to go to the small window and request to order as owner may be busy cooking. we saw a customer walked away when they saw no one came out to take orders. Keep up the good work in providing good fish and chips! We wish Nana Fish and Chips a prosperous business!
