   The lady at the counter messed up the previous customer's order and took a lot of time sorting it out. There seemed to be a language barrier which prevented the customer and employee from being able to resolve the issue. The lady at the counter then finally took our order, only for us to come back ten minutes later for us to find out she didn't take the order correctly and gave us something else. When I brought this to the employees' attention they tried to argue that I was the one who ordered wrong. I very calmly told them that was not the case and that I had even opened up the menu and pointed at the picture (having seen what happened to the customers before us). She was anticipating me walking out with the wrong order but I told her firmly that I refuse to pay for something I did not order. The restaurant also made no effort to make the meal we actually ordered as it seemed like they just couldn't be bothered and we had somehow inconvenienced them when they were in the wrong. All in all, the food we did receive was decent - but having to share one meal between two people isn't ideal and to avoid such problems perhaps someone else needs to be front of house..

   Nice nice and price price. Food that is served looks very different from what is in the menu. Taste is definitely not Malaysian. Have a look at the fish fillet soup. No fresh tomato and spinach toppings as the menu showed. It also came late after my wife had finished her meal. Photos: menu and actual

   I have always enjoyed having malaysian food, and papa rich is one of the go to restaurants for me. This time we ordered the laksa, and the hainanese chicken rice. Both were delicious, as usual. We then got the kaya buns as dessert, and boy it did not disappoint.

   We got a table rather quickly and advised of the food prep delay. The menu now includes "dimsum" style orders which was a good addition. The service was okay and serving was just right... Love to try next time the rest of the menu offering.

   This restaurant has a huge menu with really good options for vegetarian as well. I had not tried vegetarian mutton curry before and I am glad I did. I love the technology in work here too, a button on the table to call a sever when you are ready to order for instance. Then there is little order book where you write up your order so that there is less scope of error. Drink options are really cool too with choice of hot and cold. Overall it’s a good experience to dine in here time to time.

   Absolutely fantastic, great service and friendly staff, food was amazing, 8 people for $220, that's great value and we took home 4 containers of leftovers. Don't really think they needed to charge us 30¢ for a takeaway container when a group spends that much but I'm nitpicking. Highest recommendations, will definitely be going there again and again. Loved it!!

   I generally like PappaRich but I think we may have just come at a particularly busy time. There was only one chef and we had to wait a bit for all our food to come. The quality of the food was average, though the portion size was pretty big! The calamari was probably the highlight admittedly. I've had better experiences here, so I'd probably put this at 3.5 -- there are nicer Malaysian places I think that are less 'showy'.
