If you like Indian food and visiting Auckland…. Dont think twice before coming here. Indian level of spice and warm servers make this one of my fav restaurant here.

Our dinner at Mumbaiwala was lovely. Great atmosphere and the food was delicious. The only reason that I gave 4 stars and not 5 for food was because they made my friends curry hot when she wanted mild, and my curry was mild when I wanted hot. We switched dishes as they were very busy! Our bill for 4 with alcohol was $292 but was $198 after our discount. Awesome. We had appetizer's and mains and everything was delicious! Highly recommend.

Had a dinner date here. Nice clean restaurant, love the theme & lighting set the ambiance. we were shown to our table where we looked at the menu's. After ordering our drinks arrived quickly with our entrée not far behind. Ordered cauliflower Manchurian based on other reviews, and it was so delicious! Our mains arrived about 15min later and were ok. Servings were good size too.
Not bad. Had the lamb curry and plain naan. Nice ambience. Could be more authentic. Too catered for local taste

Very cool restaurant with amazing ambience on Ponsonby road. Busy but wasn’t overly loud despite this and it was still easy to hear your guests! We tried most of the vegan options, with the cauliflower Manchurian being the absolute highlight! Well presented good and we certainly left feeling full. Hopefully more vegan options will come on the menu so we can come again soon :) p.s you also must check out the toilets. It’s like being transported to Mumbai
