    They ripped off my elderly parents. Out of box failure on a lawnmower they purchased. Instead of exchanging or refunding they blamed them for the failure and tried to give them a discount on another unit.

    I bought many times the product first time I came for the return the product. Next day, the product was defective and the staff is talk very rudely, even though they are giving a thread of, we are calling the security. Also, they are trying to almost abuse the person and also the specially duty manager, she is showing me that racism rudeness also showing the Manager. It’s my decision. I will return on the I have a bill everything the box also that part was defective and you are not, but she’s also not a plumber.

    Really disappointed at the care and quality of the indoor plants. I bought a number of indoor plants ( the best of the bunch ) which were not cheap and they were so root bound that I had to cut them out of the pot. One of them had been cut back so much that it was probably half the size it was ment to be. They were all the type of plants that should have been reduced due to the state of them.

    Hands down the worst place to make a large purchase of any kind. Bought a grill here after work, they said it was "in stock" but not "in the store" and I would have to collect it the next day. Next day, nothing. Following day it finally showed up. 2 days to get something "in stock" is absurd. But lets move on. I bought a portable AC unit and within a couple months the heat function had failed. Took it in for a return. It took 5 minutes to establish the heat wasnt working and 24 hours to figure out they should replace it. Odd but ok. Get the new unit home and immediatly does the same thing. I turn it on and off a few times, turn on another heater, eventually it works but with occasional issues. In about a month its totally packed up. I advise them it is at its worst when the temps are freezing. They ignore this and tell me dust, on the dust filters is the issue. As opposed to the dust filters working as intended. They advise me they are out of stock and will order a replacement. Website shows, they have them in stock. I wait. 2 days later and nothing. I go in and ask for and update. Give them my details, we have nothing. I show them the reciept and they call a supervisor who apparently did not order a replacement but has sent photos somewhere, I assume to people that made it. So they lied to me saying they had processed the refund, that they needed more stock. Apparently the 3 year warranty is a fighting match after just 6 months with this lot. Video of the brand new unit not working when its icey outside. Mitre 10 was not interested. I advised goldair myself. They at least wanted the videos, no idea if it will go anywhere. Frankly most of the frontline staff i have dealt with are great, friendly and helpful. The gardens department is incredible. All small purchases I have made have been great. But I wouldnt buy anything that may require warranty service, especially if its something you rely on. Like a heating unit in the middle of winter. 1 star because blatantly lying to my face is beyond a joke. Hell I was EXPECTING it to take longer given the circumstances last time and still got lied to just for the hell of it. Even the website said they still had stock. Update. Had a call from someome saying they were from Goldair. They were not, they are from a distribution company. They asked me a few questions and I mentioned I already emailed them (thinking it was Goldair), they asked to see the video. I forwarded it. So the store said they were ordering a replacement. They werent. Than they claimed to be Goldair. They were not. What dodgy nonsense is going on behind the scenes here? Seriously odd. Is it even legal to lie like that? Claim to be from Goldair when your from a distributer? I sent the video as requested and answered the questions. But seriously dont expect much honesty at this point. No idea whats going on

    Very easy store to get to with great parking outside and shop with an in-store cafe.

    Mitre 10 staff are always helpful and have amazing product knowledge. I have had trouble finding an amazing staff member to ask because they seem slightly understaffed on the floor. But they always have what im looking for or can advise me where to look next. Coffee is also good. Louise cake was exceptional.

    Great range of products and friendly staff. The staff working the checkout are great with the kids, and never forget to ask you about having an airpoints card. The staff here are amongst the friendliest I have ever encountered. Thank you.
