We ordered our food got home saw they forgot 2 of our fishes, no worries right? but when we called them up they didn’t care no sorry no nothing just told us we’d have to wait an extra 20 minutes then when they finally realised it would ruin our family dinner decided to say, okay we can do it now and we’ll give you fresh fish. That was lie, as when we arrived they pulled the fish from another persons order when they told us we’d get fresh fish and said “it’s fine why does it matter?” and when we asked to refund the fish they declined and told us we’d can’t. Bloody great.
Well priced fish and chips without the fatty after taste. The chinese takeaway meals are tasty too
The best Fish and Chip shop in Stokes Valley. Very large and tasty fish and generous portions of chips.
The fish is OK - not that fresh (a bit dry and fishy) but edible… the food isn’t that good - but it’s a well run clean joint open late that serves hot crispy take out. The service is good, the oil is clean and the wontons are decent. A bit sweet but good.

unfortunately gave this company a review, it was meant for the restaurant inside the airport of melbourne. previous message: Ordered Wedges and Bufflo Wings Wedges plate size and price was reasonable Taste was burnt. Table has salt. Bufflo Wings not enough sauce, not sure why but the wings were burnt too.. Small size we ordered and it came with over 12 pieces wings which was good for the price. But taste is not good, need to change the flavour. service was good. Staff friendly.
A varied menu. Something to suite most taste pallets....we thought. Close, convenient parking. We recently relocated to the area. Our family decided to try the food on Saturday evening - we were disappointed. The fish and chips were extremely oily overpowering the taste of the fish. Chips soggy, unpleasant. Honestly, it put us off, as a result at least half the food was not eaten. The amount of oil that soaked into the wrapped paper and box was noticed because there was so much oil. A combination dish ordered had few pieces of meat and only one type which respectfully was not what we asked for. We hope our review will assist management.
Best fish and chips in the Hutt Valley. Always friendly. Able to phone orders through. Chinese food is good too. As with all Chinese food. Loads of MSG and the sauces can be terribly sweet, Lemon Chicken. Sweet and Sour Pork etc. Otherwise Hearty fare. Recommend.
Great fish n chips. Reasonably priced and tastes nice and fresh. The Chinese takeaways are awesome too. Staff are friendly and great people. Definitely the best place in Stokes Valley
