The last 3 or 4 times I've come here it has been excellent. I can always find a clean table to sit at. Food comes quickly, its hot and fresh, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Choice!
One of the best burgers I'd had in a long time. Was so fresh. If having fresh was an option but you just had to wait extra, I'd do that every time. The girl on the Drive-Thru was real patient with me too because I hadn't used the new app before.
Without a doubt, the worst McDonald's in the known universe! Every online delivery order is incorrect - wrong items; food that has been cooked on an obviously dirty grill; missing extras that you pay for; missing utensils for sundaes & hotcakes (hard to eat ice cream without a spoon); no straws for drinks (difficult when in a car); no butter and/or maple syrup with the hotcakes (makes them pretty dry); someone else's order; sauces you haven't asked for in items that don't normally have them; very long wait times; coffees instead of hot chocolates; normal milk (that vegans don't want and some people are allergic to) instead of plant-based milk; no serviettes included most of the time; hot drinks are lukewarm or insipid; unavailable items still showing as being available & no explanation as to why you haven't received it; a constant issue of not being able to get sundaes, shakes or hot drinks due to the machine that is needed for them breaking down; being told to wait for long periods at the drive-thru; and a general inattention and/or the inability to read orders properly! Unfortunately, Burger King doesn't do breakfast, otherwise I would go there instead. I tend to mainly get breakfast menu stuff because you are the only place open when I want it, sadly. There is nothing worse than getting a coffee when you have ordered a hot chocolate, because you DON'T drink coffee! You owe me about $100 for hollandaise sauce I have added and not got! You lot need to step up and start considering your customers, who pay a lot for the underwhelming food you fail to adequately provide. It wastes our time and money to have to get refunds/credits for inedible or missing items, and you are costing the business a lot of money too.
Perhaps they were understaffed but at least put a sign up. 25 min wait. Staff who delivered our food had 0 hospitality skills, dumped the food on table, we thanked the person who said nothing, no smile 0!! Maybe it was their 1st shift.
I ordered a Big Mac without lettuce or pickles; they honoured the no pickles request, but the Big Mac still had lettuce in it.
Almost always have to park up and wait making drive through somewhat redundant! May as well go in and sit and wait! Almost always something missing or wrong with order ... we've given up now and stick with Lower Hutt branch.
These guys are dreadful, management need to go under cover boss styles and see what customers experience. The whole crew need to go to Maccas in Newtown and see how the pros do it. Wait time was 20mins, and there was only 3 customers inside. No smiles, zero customer service skills. Please minus the one star I gave, they don't deserve that star
I just got politely greeted at the first window, and then told to "have a nice day" with a smile when handed the food. AND they put napkins in the bag, and the burgers didn't look like someone sat on them. Coincidentally, BK just opened.
Food is average at best. Sometimes really lovely and hot and other times only warm. Burger was thrown together and way too much sauce in it. And I love sauce in my burger. This is what poured out of my burger while eating it. Sometimes the service is amazing and then slips at times with one worker in particular. . Toilets are not the cleanest either unfortunately. The floor by drink machines and fryers looked so slippery.
