   Hi team, I just wanted to show my appreciation in regards to the service my family have been receiving over the years we’ve been coming. I know something small as saying thank you may seem like a stretch these days as not every business has maintained the commitment to catering to customers needs or being of good help. I watched you guys get hammered during the covid times and working under the pump with all the stress that came with those crazy times. Yet you still turned up to work to help those in need and care for the community even though your health was at risk too. I know you guys work really hard and when things seemed chaotic, you’ve continued to be positive, put on a brave face, carried on and got on with it! So thank you for keeping it real over these years even though we no longer live in Mangere, we still chose your business overall cause it’s the loyalty that counts! Fakaue Lahi The Nosa Family

   I cannot recommend this pharmacy enough. The level of care and compassion that comes with the service is what makes me a returning customer. I am reading a lot of the comments and truly believe that the other customers are ones who come in expecting to get their prescriptions done in a minute. It is a chemist, not a takeaway bar. What a lot of people fail to understand is that just like the rest of the medical industry for the last 3yrs, this little pharmacy has taken a hit and are still recovering. Even amongst the craziness of completing prescriptions, ear piercings, retail and administering the covid vaccinations, they’re always providing great customer service. The staff here are patient and willing to help you, the staff are always going over beyond and will always explain things in a manner you are able to understand. I would like to thank the staff of the Mangere East Unichem for their efficiency and service.

   This place does not deserve a star at all. I’ve been here a few times only because it’s convenient and the times I have been there I’ve seen them yell at customers, huffing while serving customers just utterly disgusting customer service. Today I totally lost my cool when I went in to enquire about my creams that I have been waiting so long for, only to hear the Island lady saying things regarding myself to the Indian lady instead of saying it to my face, I had to hear her talk about me while waiting for a solution. However I did not handle the situation well and yelled out to respond to her in a not so calm manner. In the end, I will have to visit my dr again which will cost me $30 to get another prescription for my creams (thanks a lot to this pharmacy) and, I will never return to this pharmacy again. They all lack in customer service skills and defiantly need training to up skill themselves and their attitudes towards people need adjusting. Simply put, if dealing with customers who will have different personalities and understanding levels, frustrate you, then you are in the wrong field!

   They yelled my full name and address out aloud for the whole world to hear. When I complained to the Indian lady, she just acted like it was common practice, gave me the impression she didn’t care. That’s why I changed pharmacies! No customer service skills whatsoever! Been here a few times and it’s the same service, staff are Always rude, impatient and impolite, they look down on south Auckland. not recommended! Will not be returning!

   This place is so ruthles, I went there to get my medicine, I could barely stand n requested the girl at counter to help me. First they said they don’t have prescription on their system so I called my doctor which took me 20 mins to get through and they confirmed they have sent the presciption to this pharmacy. My doctor sent me the same on my email address so that the pharmacy could help me quickly. But the Polynesian girl at the counter refused to give me my medicine saying there is no barcode and doctor’s signature on it. I again requested her that I could not wait any longer due to my condition. They asked me to wait for another 15 minutes. They should consider a bit of empathy especially when u work in medicine n healthcare.
