Vehicle parking available but limited. I visited for meditation program so i couldn’t comment on rooms and service. Toilet in location is not convenient so need to more implementation.
Not good to put us in a room where they are working on the rooms all around us hammering and smashing tiles till 10pm! Place is run down and had crackers at poolside high as kites!
This hotel has outstanding professional staff service. I had a couple very basic inquiries (just one of THOSE moments) that would probably had elicited an audible groan and eye roll from the average person, but they only helped and allayed my anxiety. My room was clean, comfortable and had everything I needed. There is a bus stop immediately across the road, and after less than 10 minutes, arrives at Sylvia Park. I didn't get a chance to fully explore everything this hotel has to offer, but I was extremely satisfied with what I had experienced.
Dated, but nice clean room. Large comfy bed. Reception staff were lovely. Excellent value. Carpark needs doing up.
We have used Mt Richmond hotel multiple times over the years. Never had any issues or anything that can't be fixed. Staff always are friendly and willing to help. Food at the restaurant is constantly good and tastes yummy. The chiefs always pop out to check how the meals going. Would recommend to anyone. Bonus there's a pool and hot tub.
After specifically asking about the spa being on and available, previous to booking, I was soooo disappointed that it was off and cold when it came to using it. I got offered a couple of complimentary drinks a sincere apology from a very friendly man on reception, but unfortunately it ruined my experience.
Stayed here for 2 nights. Got a very reasonable room rate. Our room felt fresh, clean and fittings were good. Room had heat pump, mini fridge Tv, desk, comfortable king bed, ensuite. Bathroom was nicely tiled and shower had decent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very pleased with accomodation. Dined in on site restaurant and recommend the Pork Roast was a great meal. Staff were friendly and professional. Only complaint would be car parking, had to park on the street both nights, as insufficient parks available. Would stay here again.
I'm currently here at Mt Richmond and I just want to take to the time to acknowledge the staff members here. Receptionist is always awesome to me and my children. General manager is so friendly and kind to just talk to. The young manager male always has a welcoming smile. I've stayed at multiple motels and hotels and I have to say the staff here are the friendliest and most welcoming staff we have ever had the pleasure to interact with.(Good job to whoever hired everyone) Room service staff are always greeting us with smiles. The maintenance man is always so kind. We love that they never rush us and are always willing to help however they can. They also help with dinners for clients in emergency housing and the food is always yum.
Very nice place most the staff was extremely lovely, two head staff there were rude and entitled, I have woken up with my door wide open, as well as the head cleaner banging on my wall to wake me up, one lady tried to blame the smell of weed in the hallway on me and when she couldn’t she gave me a strike for the door closing to hard, I also got told of by her for vaping outside, cockroaches would crawl up through the walls as well, also they have just walked in when I was in the bathroom asking them to give me a minute to get out but she decided she would walk right in and ignore my request for her to give me a minute to come out of the bathroom. Walls are paper thin u can hear everything, Every other staff member was respectful and extremely kind.
Staff were friendly, made me feel welcome and showed me around first. Bed very big & so comfy, the room was a decent size. Cookies and kettle in the room was a nice touch for such a good priced room. Shower was spot on. Only negatives were the room was not soundproof/double glazed so I could hear people talking in the carpark late at night and the parking was a bit tight. I would book here again :)
