   I ordered chicken and lamb kebabs. The lamb kebab was okay, but the chicken kebab was very disappointing hard to chew and tasted like it had been made a day or two earlier. I also ordered the family pack chicken biryani, which was average at best. The most disappointing part was that it didn’t seem freshly made. We ate some and saved the rest for lunch the next day. It was kept refrigerated overnight and again at work, yet it still started to smell bad. It seems like the chicken used in the biryani had been marinated days ago - I could clearly smell rotten yogurt. Overall, not a pleasant experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

   Super disappointing! Do not order soup from this place, I only ordered because it was only Halal option I know. I was sick and placed the order on phone for 2 x chicken corn soups so I can have it two times. requested them to add boiled eggs to each soup and obviously I have no problem paying extra. Paid $30 for chicken corn soup without any chicken and corn in it, it was very disappointing and the portion was shockingly small. Not worth it at all!

   Customer service is really good. For a small restaurant, their service quality is superb! Food... it is beyond expectations! Amazingly authentic and tastes so so good. Gives an original Indian Indian taste. Good food and great value for money! This place should be recognized as one of the best Indian food places in Auckland. Loved it! Thank you Falaq, simply amazing!

   Great vegetarian samosas and range of dishes. Very tasty (but relatively spicy). Butter chicken has heaps of flavour. Very friendly service. Garlic naan is awesome too. Definitely worth trying out.

   This place has been one of my go to’s for dinner meals. have always enjoyed the chicken biryani and their butter chicken. Tonight I ordered another butter chicken but when i got home it was not butter chicken but i still ate and enjoyed it. (may have been chicken tikka with the amounts of onions but not sure which one tbh)

   I recently ordered from Falaq Takeaway and was impressed with their food and service. The vegetarian noodles, veg biryani, and chili paneer were delicious and full of flavor. However, I found the dishes to be a bit too oily for my liking, and would suggest they reduce the oil content in their cooking. That said, I really enjoyed my experience. It's a great place for veg food and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend giving them a try if you're in the area and looking for some tasty Indian food. Thank youfor a great meal!

   Chicken 65 biriyani is beautiful with lots of chicken. Easily 2 meals. And at $16 at the time of writing you will not be competing on price with these folks.

   Decided to get takeaway from Falaq’s today. Ordered the Lamb Biryani, Butter chicken, chicken 65 and butter naans. The lamb biryani was fantastic. Good flavours and good amount of spice to it and the lamb was tender. Butter chicken was not too creamy and had a good taste to it. Naans were lovely fresh and nice. The only thing was the chicken 65 was dry. It was one of the dishes which was already prepared and kept on the warmer. That being said the flavour was great. All in all the food was delicious.
