   The line of Taco Bell is a place I call home I live in ALBANY on the North Shore and it’s come to the point where every time I drive over the harbour Bridge I just know that it’s Taco Bell time. I’ve never tried anything else other than the double crispy chicken taco combo with a refreshing (not too sweet) (perfectly ratio’d syrup to soda) frozen vanilla Coke. I’m extremely grateful for the effort that the team puts into the food, the environment, consistency and the friendly faces that greet me as I walk through the front door. If you’re looking for a satisfying meal with heart and soul and passion, come on down to the Lunn Ave Taco Bell and find out for yourself what you are missing. I think I’m Taco Bell’s number one fan - my heart is yours. Love the work, keep it up. I’m cheering you on. Please add Baja blast. Forever and always xoxo

   Waited so long to be absolutely disappointed missing items from my big order hardly any beef in the nachos which I had ordered last and took 20mins just for nachos one of the workers didnt look like she wanted to be there. Anyway didnt leave there till 8:35ish got home and that’s when I realised I was missing items usually a really good place awesome service and food but tonight was a no go 12/11/2025

   Taco Bell’s arrival to NZ has been a bit of a godsend for me (having lived off the stuff in the states), and this location is the best I’ve been to yet! The Crispy Chicken soft-shell tacos are always my go-to, and although I won’t be showering them with presentation awards today, that big hitting taste never goes missing.    What started of as an alternative to having McDonalds or KFC, ended up being the best one out of the 3. Regarding the Taco Bell Lunn Ave restaurant (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐): I live closer to the Botany store but wanted the best first experience so I went to the Lunn Ave, Mt. Wellington store based on the better google reviews. We were not disappointed. Every time we have been to Lunn Ave, we've had nothing but great service. The store gets a lot of customers but they seem to be able to keep on top of the huge influx of orders without too much of a long wait. Once you order (which you can do using their touch screen ordering machines or at the front desk with a staff member), you are given a little gadget with your order number on it. Once your order is ready, it will vibrate and the lights will begin flashing. Downside: Sometimes the floors have litter (very minute) and the tables haven't been wiped down. However, this is because they get a lot of foot traffic in the store with all the staff focusing solely on getting through the orders which I prefer personally but some people will not find this acceptable. I don't care personally and I know by watching other customers when I'm waiting for my own order, that this is because they get some messy customers coming through their store so I haven't removed a star just because of this. Regarding the menu itself (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐): It took me a good handful of visits to figure out my favourite meal and what size to purchase so that I'm not overindulging but at the same time, having enough food to make me full. Unlike McDonalds, I was pleasantly surprised when 2 hours had gone by after eating at Taco Bell and I wasn't hungry again. A McDonald's mac attack would make me feel stuffed by the time I finish it then 2 hours later, Im hungry again. You dont get this with Taco Bell. Favourite meal: My ultimate favourite is the regular sized Crunchwrap supreme combo (pictured). I love the Double Crunchwrap combo but I find that it's too big for me even though I'm a big eater. I can never finish the large fries or the drink. The fries are sprinkled with a very mild spicy seasoning and they taste great on their own. Personally, I like using their mild sauce to dip my fries in (which is free). The medium cup is the size of what I would consider to be a small cup if you were to purchase from McDonald's for instance. However, this isn't a huge problem for me considering I eat just outside the Taco Bell restaurant mostly, and drink refills are free. Cost: This particular combo costs me NZ$13.90 so it's much cheaper than some of its competition - KFC, Burger King, Wendy's, McDonalds etc. So, if anyone is looking to try Taco Bell here in Auckland, I can highly recommend The Lunn Ave Taco Bell Restaurant in Mt. Wellington.

   Ring the bell… if you want the attention of any of the staff. Waited as the only person in line for just on 5mins waiting to be served, then waited 14mins for the meal. They forgot my cup so I went back to the counter… only to wait for another couple of mins for anyone to notice I was there. At 3pm on a Tuesday I am lost for words as to how one customer can fall through the cracks of multiple staff behind the counter. On the plus side, the food was great once it finally arrived.
