Chloe, Stan, Vai and Vili did an excellent job packing and moving my things to the South Island. They were punctual, worked very efficiently and also extremely polite. Thanks also to Julaine who provided me with the initial quote and Sharon in the office who was quick to respond to emails. Overall a great experience dealing with The Moving Company.
Our move to the south island was so smooth with The Moving Company's help. Julaine, their Sales Manager, was amazing and guided us well through the whole process. The guys who came to our house were very nice and professionals in their job. They packed everything so well and carefully loaded their truck, without any issues, and all of our furniture was delivered to our new home without a simple item being damaged. The delivery was very fast as well, within 3 days we got everything dropped off. This was when a 4 man team quickly unloaded the truck and carefully placed everything in our garage. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience and will definitely used their services next time we're moving. Thanks guys!
After getting a quote from them, I decided to not take a couple of items, so phoned them to discuss and they said I could pay on actual volume once the job was completed. I went this route. They came on the day they said to pack and did a superb job, very friendly guys. Very happy with the final invoice. I was to share a container, I knew that it could be quite a while before it left New Zealand. Much to my surprise just 7 weeks later I got an email to say my goods were on the way. I was given the tracking number, tracking site and estimated date of arrival. The ship did arrive as scheduled. I would definitely recommend this company if you are looking to move either overseas or inland.
Great company. Staff are super professional and friendly. Responded quickly to our move request and sent through a detailed quote and moving guide. Movers were really good guys and were nice to spend the day with.
The teams at the Moving Company and NZ Vanlines made what was a very stressful time for me much less so. They were friendly from the first contact and everyone acted with a high level of professionalism. They were respectful of my property and very helpful with removing packaging. They also set up my dining table and assembled a bed for me. I have no hesitation in recommending their services in New Zealand.
The Moving Company are by far the best movers I have come across. They were extremely helpful from start to finish and very professional and reliable. From excellent truck maneuverers to worth their weight in gold managers/office/administrators, they are all on the same page regarding helping the customer and making the experience as stress-free as possible. Our move was not particularly straight forward and was across a long distance and I am impressed. In fact we still have another container load in storage so it has not yet been completed but I look forward to posting another review when it has. I highly recommend this company.
