    Just home from my 4th pastry class over the past few years with Maxine. These are so good I regularly request a voucher for birthday present. A great day with Max as the most patient and positive teacher who makes even the most complex dessert possible. These classes are my new go to when I'm after a fun thing to do. Couldn't recommend more. And you get to bring it home and eat it. How could it get any better??!!!

    Max is so lovely, patient and a great hostess! She has tea, coffee, snacks for you, aprons, everything you may need and a boost to your confidence. She is always reassuring and supportive while teaching. She some how makes a very complex French pastry or cookie or some amazing desert very do-able. I’ve been atleast 4 times to Maxs classes. She also uses high quality ingredients. You go away with your creations, the recipes and your leftovers. Highly recommend. Would be great for a hens do, Mother’s Day present or just a class alone.

    I had my first kitchen experience with Maxine today and it was fabulous! Everything pre measured and looks incredible but not something I would think I could ever make. She walks us through bit by bit and then you do hands on. First class experience. Thanks so much! Debbie D

    I had mixed feelings about what I had here, the ice cream was nice, definitely preferred the boysenberry ice cream over the strawberry, it just seem more refreshing. The cherry tart was a little too sweet for me, I think I may have just got the tart with quite sweet/ripe cherries, because it seemed like it lacked a bit of acidity in there, but the main concern for me was that it was at room temperature on a hot day, the pastry cream filling was just a tad warm which changed the texture a little, same issue with the cremeux on the pavalova, room temp didn't make it very nice.
