Amazing venue, great staff, and really loved the whole venue being decorated for Christmas.
A bit of an odd one. Kind of grimey movie themed romantic cocktail bar is how it's best described. Drinks were fine. Interior was different. Loos were clean. I could be back if on a date and looking for somewhere quiet and a bit alternative. Bar team were all friendly.
Colleagues and I wanted to go to the Library Bar but they were packed and the maรฎtre de told us to come here as it is a sister bar. It was a great find and we had a good time looking at the dรฉcor whilst sipping on our cocktails. Pretty sure the first cocktail I had was the Love Vodka. Can't quite remember what I had after this but it was worth the visit and I'd totally go back when I'm in Welly next. Staff are lovely and location is great too.
Was so disappointed herethis time as previously loved it and recommended we go here after WOW,one staff member stayed on phone the whole time and looked like they hated us being there,looked super grumpy and turned away customers at 10pmish,who said to us when we arrived after they got denied,said to us good luck getting in.these people looked in their late 20s early 30s and looked absolutely fine to us,just a few drinks in them, went upstairs stayed for hour waiting half hour for a cheese toastie to cook, no body else there. Not going back.no atmosphere,but could be awesome!!!
Lovely Sunday afternoon listening to Jazz. Was in Foresters Lane for something else when I heard interesting Jazz coming through an open window. The bar manager happened to be outside and suggested I come up and have a listen: "it's free". I bought a couple of refreshments while listening to some cool Jazz. What a score!! Felt very fortunate and very looked after by the lovely staff.
Cool atmosphere! Creative cocktails served alongside classics. And friendly conversation. Bartender Maisa was a joy to visit with, and Peter brought serious commitment to his trade. If you can get in, youโll be rewarded with a great experience. Go to Forresters Lane.
A truly amazing little place in the middle of wellington. Friendly staff who know a great deal about the drinks they are making, not sure what you want, ask for help! Fancy something made with cashew syrup? They have a dozen recipes for you. Honestly a truly brilliant experience, one we will have again and again.
