Very nice and quiet place to eat, the staff polite and friendly. Very good and economic prices. We ordered the Mongolian beef and the honey chicken fried with rice. JUST WOW!!! The tastes were amazing. I definitely visit again the Noodle Canteen.

Got the hot box. One bit of broccoli, tiny bits of beef that small you didnt even need to chew them, 2 bits of chicken and no pork. So $16.90 for a bowl of noodles. Wont be going back

Food isn’t bad. Place looks a bit shady and the service was quite robotic but at least it gets the job done. The noise of the kitchen cooking can be heard throughout the whole store which makes conversations a bit harder to hear. Quickly readied order in less than 10 minutes and got an overall satisfactory dinner for some noodles.

Honey king prawn is definitely not king prawn, and is more doughy batter than prawn.

Queens Drive, Lower Hutt, a quiet night, I were the only customer in the store, placed my order and tried a bit of small talk, all I got was a blank look then she turned her back and walked away from me, when the meal was ready it was slapped on the counter, no bag, nothing said, then I were watched like a Hawk when I collected a wooden spoon and fork, I love Noodle Canteen, but you couldn't pay me to walk back into that store, common courtesy goes a long way.

The food is always fine but the staff really could do with some lessons in customer service. Unfriendly, unhelpful and basically you feel like your custom doesn't matter, it's just about the money.

Noodle Canteen has been nothing but consistent, whether it be here or anywhere else in the country. Number 17 has been my go to for the past decade and they've never skimped on portion. The staff, as always, is friendly and provides excellent service. It's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for some satisfying Asian cuisine.

Just got delivered the honey chicken noodle from lower-hutt store. The "chicken" was so fried it was only batter. I had no meat at all. This is the worst meal I've ever had with them. $17.50 down the drain. Disappointed, dissatisfied.
