   Review for Tasty BBQ Restaurant Tasty BBQ Restaurant is our go-to spot when we are in the area when it comes to casual catch-ups with family and friends. We dropped by for a lunch get-together and ordered a bit of everything to share—classic chips, BBQ fried rice, combination fried rice noodles, steamed BBQ pork buns, and salt & pepper squid. For drinks, we had the creamy mango and creamy honeydew pearl drinks. The meals were standard, nothing fancy or standout, but still satisfying enough to fill us up and keep the conversation flowing. The portion sizes were decent, and everything came out fresh and hot. The BBQ flavours were mild, and the pork buns were soft and enjoyable. The drinks were sweet and creamy, just as expected. Overall, it’s a simple spot with familiar flavours, perfect for a relaxed dinner with loved ones. If you’re not looking for anything too adventurous but want a comfortable place to sit down, share some plates, and leave feeling full—this place does the job.

   Tasty dishes at affordable prices. Our favorite would be the salt and pepper squid - crunchy on the outside but so tender on the inside. Sweet and sour pork, Peking duck, and also their bubble teas are awesome! Highly recommend this restaurant.

   Great value for money. Big portions and the best perking duck I’ve had so far as takeout. The roasted pork is crunchy and less salty than many other places (which is a good thing) Rib with perking sauce and honey chicken are also dishes that I highly recommended. The only thing that I didn’t like was the fried rice noodle, I think they overcooked it so suggest if you want to have this dish, have it at the restaurant, not a good choice for takeaway.

   Just had dinner at this place. Not too big but sitting was comfortable. Understand the restaurant started only 6 months ago. The service was friendly and efficient. The lady serving spoke Mandarin but managed English well to handle your orders. So no worries. As for the food they were tasty and reasonably good. Prices were affordable. If you have problem ordering, just look at the wall. Pictures of dishes were posted all over with prices. A very good selection of dishes. Will definitely visit the place again. We had few dinners later and added more photos of the dishes we ordered.

   We usually eat at the well known Chinese resto at New North rd but decided to give Tasty Bbq restaurant a try. We were not disappointed at all. Asian lady taking orders was really super friendly and well groomed. Place was a little bit small but the ambiance is all good. The place was well lit and images of the food on the wall with prices really helps with what to order. Price is a bit higher if going to be compared to the bbq Chinese resto on the ther side but taste and quantity is well worth it. Serving was really fast. Only negative we can think of is the shrimp on the vermicelli we order was kinda hard removing the skin but the taste was on the spot. We will definitely come back. Oh, and they have a reward system, they give you a stamp for every $35 spent and will get a $20 off on the 10th visit.
