   I had to delete my positive review I made 3 years ago after change of ownership. We’ve been clients of Town & Country Vets for years because they were the only clinic that could accommodate our anxious dog with patience and kindness and care. Sadly, under new ownership and staff, the care has completely changed. We took our new puppy in after an accident and the vet we saw was abrupt, dismissive, and rough. Instead of addressing the issue we came in for (her leg), she unnecessarily handled our puppy in a way that caused her to cry, and she showed no compassion or willingness to listen to what the situation was about. We left feeling heartbroken and unsupported and we left feeling like our puppy would have no quality of life because of it. The one and only vet had no understanding of the situation and to be quite frank didn’t want to know! It’s such a shame because this used to be a wonderful, caring practice. The reception team is still lovely, but the new vet we saw made the experience terrible. We will not be returning and now have to find another clinic for both of our dogs.

   I have brought a stray cat to Town and Country to get some vet care recently. Sophie, the vet nurse, was very helpful from the beginning when I called to make an appointment, to help contact the original owner and follow through. It’s a long story but I really appreciate Sophie’s help and time. She has demonstrated how much they care about animals from these small details. I would say this level of care is hardly found in other clinics. Thank you again.

   A good place to go if your pets are very excitable. It's very quiet, easy parking and the vet gave our dog a very good health check. Staff are efficient and pleasant. It did seem quite expensive but other vets charge similar fees.

   Once a great vet service, now a money making, inefficient, uncaring unprofessional retail business. One month on, still waiting for a referral to ophthalmologist. Reading other reviews i also had the same response from the older lady vet when i queried my bill. They were supposed to do bloods while he was under anesthesia. They didnt. All of it is just money money money and i have nothing against that, it is a business after all, but do what u are getting paid for at least!! Being busy is no excuse to not finish your jobs. I paid to come and see you, u told me i would be referred to said specialist, i call them, they have not received the referral, its a simple email that needs to be done, i go to another vet practice the email gets sent while we are in the room. DONE!! Excuses are no reason to be this bad at ur job. Town and country is no longer town and country, it is owned by some big aussie company. Hence the huge change in everything. Service is friendly , hence the one star, but while that is great, it is actual results that ur clients want. I wont ever be back. Transferring my boys further away but where i actually get what i need and want from a vet, their ability to do their job.
