We had a 10/10 breakfast a few months ago (so many fresh ingredients and no packet sauce) we thought we'd return for our wedding anniversary. As expected another 10/10 experience. Super friendly staff and excellent range and quality of food. HIGHLY recommend.

Namunamuaa te kai! Huge shoutout for the amazing service! We rocked up 10 minutes before closing, and even though everything had been turned off, the owners and staff welcomed us in so warmly and whipped up a beautiful fettuccine. Then 15 minutes later, one of our whaanau turned upβ€”and they didn’t think twice about firing things up again to make another. Truly above and beyond. Thanks so much for the warm vibes and delicious kai!

A lovely dining experience to celebrate a 1 year anniversary. Louie our server was amazingly attentive and funny. He made sure we felt special. Delicious food and really original dishes. I never thought scallops and black pudding would work together but it does! Kudos to the entire GLOW team, thanks for a delicious and memorable evening

Almost 5 stars. We've been wanting to try Glow's restaurant for a while, and the opportunity came today. The way the owners have redecorated is awesome. Much more open, bright and airy than the previous establishments. Modern decor and furnishings that complement the heritage building. The menu is curated, and looking at the varieties and of entries, it looks as if considerable thought has gone into a menu that has a relationship with itself and a variety of tastes. It was a pleasantly difficult choice. Our meals (the Drunken Sailor Burger and the Korean Chicken) definitely didn't disappoint. Unfortunately, they didn't knock our socks off, either. It was the little things that just missed the mark. Only just. The turmeric rice with the chicken was just a bit dry. The mixed sauce with the Burger, while beautifully presented, didn't add anything to the meal. The mojito cocktail was just not sweet enough. Just... Dessert was excellent. The tiramasu was spot on, and I urge you to try the Maja Blanca - particularly if you have a sweet tooth. The espresso was perfect. The service? Excellent and beyond expectation. I hope that this serves to help improve this great spot into the best place to eat in Auckland. It is meant to help, not to hurt. We will be back.

A lovely last evening with our family before flying home to UK. Always the best restaurant to enjoy a real treat from the moment you step inside with the warmest if welcomes from a happy team where nothing is to much trouble. The food was as ever delicious, and you could just sit relaxing knowing your every need for a special evening was taken care of. Thank you and see you again very soon.

The whole experience was terrible from the initial phone call to place our order right through to eating (or at least trying to) - but then it got worse!! Firstly we had incompetent person on the phone taking the order, 2 hours for the delivery to turn up in our street only to be delivered to the wrong house. After chasing down the down the order (that included having to chase the delivery driver in our vehicle to catch her). Food was then substandard - some (including chicken undercooked) and some over cooked and inedible. Very little of our $188 order was edible. I attempted to do the right thing and I contact Deb via email to let her know of our experience. Initally she was responsive and advised of different events that may have contributed to our terrible service and meals. Then offered a refund and asked for credit card details to process the refund. I sent that through and then NOTHING. She completely ghosted me - no refund and no response to my email. Would not recommend.

I’m from Yorkshire so this place was awesome! Had a cocktail which was yummy, service awesome. Only 4 stars as didn’t eat so can’t judge the food but for drinks definitely worth a visit!

So yummie, ordered and paid over the phone and got our food delivered for free (when you spend over $30), was ready so fast too. Natasha was so lovely to talk to :)
