   We have always wanted to try Manaia Seafood. From the moment I stepped out of the car, I could instantly smell the seafood boil. Our booking was set for 12pm. We ordered the Medium Lobster tray $135 with Fries $10 on the side. No amount of words can describe the beautiful taste of the Lobster tail, half cut crabs, mussels, prawns, sweetcorn and eggs. Everything was just divine.

   They said it’s all about the sauce and it definitely is. The buttery and garlicky sauce made the dish perfect. The lobster tail and other seafood were fresh and tasty however most of the crab meat were stuck to the shell. Might be just that batch so overall experience was great. They do provide some tools to crack the shell, like a little mallet but having those shell crackers would be preferable rather than smashing the claw on the table. Serving them pre-cracked would have been great too. Although they provide the gloves and apron, you’ll still need to wash your hands after the feed as those gloves won’t last from all the devouring. There is only 1 washing bay which is in the toilet so it’ll be slightly inconvenient if that’s in use. Service is quick and efficient and lots of free parking outside.

   We have been wanting to go to Manaia seafood for ages, we have just been putting it off as it’s hard to get a reservation previously when we tried. So when we finally had the opportunity, we grabbed it. And, we were not disappointed ❤️ their sauce was so flavourful, their portion sizes were generous. The seafood was so fresh and sweet, and we now are planning the next time we visit. Staff were lovely too. Thanks for an amazing feed and we will def be back!

   My friend saw this restaurant on social media so we booked it for our last dinner in Auckland before going home. Turns out to be another great meal we had for our trip. It’s quite a small restaurant but everyone in that packed restaurant were really enjoying themselves. We ordered a medium lobster tail tray that had lobster tails, prawns, mussels, crab with potatoes, corns and eggs. A very tasty fulfilling meal. All the seafood were fresh and delicious except for the crab which was not too fresh. The star of the meal is really the sauce. It’s a dip that goes well with all the seafood and the potatoes, corns and eggs. Super yummy delicious dinner. Saw that they are opening branch soon. Good for them.

   Service was fast. Wings were crunchy and dressed with chili buffalo sauce, imho lack a bit of seasoning. We ordered medium (for a family of 5, 3 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child)just added some add ons, price is reasonable. Seafood boil taste ok. Overall pleasant experience.

   I think over all the food was OK, it would of been even better if there were a variety of the seafood boil sauces provided and also the seafood itself wasn't hot so temperature wise it would be much better if the seafood was hotter but still a good bang for your buck, just a heads up Parking is off street so yeah thank you Manaia for the great service
