   Hey there, this is specifically aimed at managing bookings and reservations. If you have party’s/groups of people booking times for reserved tables all good. However, if they turn up early, with other punters occupying those spots. Make them wait until their allocated time slot. Early or late makes no difference when you have paying punters enjoying paid for beverages with an assumption they have a place to sit down until time specified when they have to give up the spot. Hate having to knock back my drink after being moved on. Not fair. Turn up early turn up late. You wait like everyone else. Next time poor reviews coming through. Also not fair on your staff dealing with those with paid drinks being shafted by non existent time constraints. Merry Xmas… you know when there are heaps of peeps spending money at your establishment.

   We are visiting Wellington and came across this bar. What a brilliant bar. This is the best bar I’ve been to in years. Great vibe, excellent music, good booze, and a unique setup. Loved it! We drunk beer and played pool.

   Again, another delightful venue. A friendly welcome and a good selection of beers. I tried their first in-house brew the Mean NZ Pilsener. It would be interesting to see this place pumping at night with all the games tables going!

   Mabel’s is great. I only drink craft beer. Therefore a taproom that serves fine beer and a selection of food from Mabel’s has to be good. Good it is. (We didn’t have the food we had booked at Damascus up the road.) Well done Mean Doses. You’ve joined the Hawthorn Lounge as a cool upstairs bar on Tory St. We’ll see you again soon.

   This is the coolest new hangout in town!! Enter through the black doors on Tory and enter another world, with great brews, great staff and games galore including a pool table. I also loved that even when super busy I could still hear people. The food from Mabels is pretty epic.

   A fresh new Brew Pub that boasts phenomenal beers complemented with fantastic food! Highlights for me was the house beer, a golden larger, on nitro. And the hot wings supplied by Mabel's downstairs. With so many beers from the Mean Doses Brewery that will challenge your understanding of just how good a beer really can be, you'll never be disappointed here. If you can't decide they have beer flights or you can ask for a sip before jumping into crazy beer. I'm looking forward to guest taps as well. But the fun doesn't stop there. Classic arcade machines including a verses table for Street fighter, Mortal Kombat and more. Pinball machines, pool and they said Shuffleboard is arriving soon. I've found my regular spot. Maybe I shouldn't have told you about this little gem? I suppose the best secrets are shared.
