I took my 7 year old for a haircut today and it was a very disappointing experience. I asked for a Ronaldo style haircut and showed a clear photo of exactly what I wanted. What my son received looks nothing like the requested style. The fade is uneven, the top is cut blunt and choppy, and the overall result does not resemble the haircut I asked for in any way. My son has a school trip tomorrow and he is feeling embarrassed about how his hair looks. This is the first time we have ever had such a poor outcome from a barber and I feel the owner should be aware of the standard of work being done. I am genuinely unhappy with this experience and hope the quality of service is taken seriously
Visited the Hobsonville store today, to find the apparent only barber on site sitting on the bonnet of a car outside. Let myself into a completely empty shop( no clients ). Was then followed into premises by staff member who then addressed me as bro! Was advised that having not booked a appointment I would have to book one! Completely client free store at this stage & completely client free when I passed 15 minutes later. In defense of your shop I have visited several times before & never had anything resembling today's circus. Suffice to say now ex client.
Booked my teenage son in for a cut with TK this afternoon. Great fade, sharp edges and a scissor cut on top. My son is super happy. Booked on the spot for his next cut. Thanks TK!
I usually don't leave reviews but wanted to express my thanks. First time visit to Kirkwoods and will definitely be coming back! Was looked after by Tim and would give him 6 stars if I could. Had a really good conversation on top of one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Even got some styling tips and some product at the end! And the complimentary drink was the cherry on top. Cheers Tim!
The lads have a great vibe, and they provide a great service. Haircut came out great, will be back again. Be sure to call and book an appointment with them, as they are in hot demand.
I was a late appointment but got in. Had hair and beard sorted by Anaru who was fast and did a great job. Top marks. Welcome addition to the local shops.
