I couldn't recommend Thomsen Automotive any more! Dave and the team are so good! Trustworthy, honest, hard working garage that has an excellent rep for EV's too. I've had Mazdas, Toyotas, Hondas and Nissan's serviced by Dave for over 10 years and he has always delivered exceptional customer service with a smile. I always feel safe in my vehicles, with my family too, knowing that Dave and the team have looked after me well! I recommend to everyone!
After visiting Thomsen Automotive again today, I thought I should really write a review. Adele (Iām pretty sure is her name) is great, makes you feel not like an idiot even when you really are when it comes to all things car related. She is always helpful and genuinely happy to be there which is nice to walk into! I find the work they provide to be honest and fairly priced. Highly recommend and will be taking my car in for all future repairs.

I would recommend in a heartbeat for anyone to take their vehicle to Thomsen Automotive. They are the most genuine, honest and hardworking mechanics in the Wellington area. I started using Thomsen Automotive several years ago based on a recommendation from a friend, a recommendation that has been the best advice for my vehicle. Thomsen Automotive isn't the closest mechanic to me (by quite some margin) but it's worth the extra time in travelling. The team at Thomsen Automotive are always super helpful and informative, starting from the friendly face of Adele at the front desk (and voice on the phone) to the owner David in the workshop. If you're looking at taking your vehicle to a mechanic in the Wellington area, it's an easy choice.

Always a pleasure getting a service and a WOF from the knowledgeable team at Thomsen Automotive. The prices are fair and they let you know of things to keep an eye on that could cause you to fail your next WOF, which is always appreciated.

The honesty and integrity of these guys is unequalled in their industry. They actually diagnose and repair ,rather than replace and hope. The dealerships in this country could take a lesson here.
