I have used Pet Doors R Us at 3 different properties over the years and can't recommend Allie & Greg highly enough. Every time booking in has been seamless, they turn up on time and Greg is very knowledgeable about glass and talks you through the process and all risks before he begins. His work is tidy and he cleans up after himself. I just had 2 doors installed and had a broken one that Greg gave great advise on how to fix rather than replacing it. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others and use again if needed.

Greg did a fantastic job, and explained everything along the way, as I was quite interested in the process. He took great care to clean up, and tell me how to use it. Highly recommended, nice guy. A+++ Update: I asked Chat GPT if I can use rechargeable NiMH C cell batteries with the Sure flap pet door. It said you can, and because they are 1.2 volts instead of alkaline 1.5 volt batteries, it is necessary to change the settings that monitor the battery voltage display icon. So I brought some blue C cell rechargeables from Jaycar today and charged them up. Then you need to change the setting to C02. To do this, press the settings button on the left with a pencil for about 10 seconds till you see the display change, then press the button 2 across to the right of the settings button until it says C02. Wait for 10 seconds. Then you are good to go with rechargeables. They wont last as long as the Duracell copper tops, but I won't have to replace them. I'll keep the copper tops in case I need them. The rechargeables are 3000mAh capacity, the duracels are 7000-9000mAh. And I am ok with that. Happy days !!! Bruce is yet to be allowed outside as he is still a kitten, but I am sure he will in the next few days...
Greg and Alie were amazing. Greg knows so much about glass he could tell me where my glass was made and when just by looking at it! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, kind and wants the best for you. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!
Alie was extremely helpful when I needed help with replacing an existing flap door. I was not even a customer but she helped extensively over the phone. One of the best customer services I have seen in New Zealand. A+++++
I sent an email with what my needs were. They were able to recommend a suitable pet door and why that was most suited. They then arranged a time, the installer called when they were on the way and completed all the works super efficiently. Really happy with the end result and service from start to finish.
We first spoke to Alie who explained everything thoroughly and answered our concerns. Greg came out to fit the cat door and explained exactly what the procedure would be. He's a really nice guy and did a fabulous job and left it really tidy afterwards. Both Greg and Alie are extremely professional with excellent customer care and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
