Their staff(Hannah? sorry if I got her name wrong) was awesome, very clear about what she knew which was enough to handle our queries, patient and not pushy; With us throughout the purchase process yet gave us enough space to make our mind. We bought an ergo baby omni which was roughly 250ish. They allow you to try them on and walk around. But there's only like 4 brands there, 2 variant per brand, total of say 8 models of baby carriers(since its very subjective to your physique I'd suggest to go try them on). I like that the parking is up to 3 hours allowing us to trial stuff properly plus we got our warehouse shopping done as well. We hired a baby seat and stroller earlier from here, the hiring and returning process was smooth (the stroller had a sticky wheel from day 1 and was a chore to use, have it checked before you rent it, the car seat was awesome and still feels brand new). I hope they are able to maintain their staff quality, which to tired/stressed new parents is equally important as the products they sell. Going online for buying baby stuff is lacking, when compared to having someone nice to talk things through who can help you with trialing stuff when you're juggling your baby and trying to make your mind.
My wife, daughter & grandson visited on 15 May looking for a new car seat. They were sooo impressed with the level of service even to the extent of fitting the car seat and making sure it was the correct fit. All this whilst the rain was coming down in bucket loads and her getting soaking wet. We didn't get her name but she only works on Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays. Keep up the great work Baby Factory, Albany.
We were in the market for a couple of new car seats. We previously had had a very bad experience with the manager at Baby Factory Northwest so we won’t purchase anything through this branch. I called through to the Albany branch yesterday to see if they had the car seats in stock. I spoke to an amazing lady called Jenny she was super helpful and informative. We called in today to purchase and Jenny was there her customer service is exceptional, product knowledge second to none and super personable. She let us test the seat in the car to make sure it fitted. Such a lovely lady to deal with and made the experience extremely easy. She is an asset to the Baby Factory thank you Jenny we will be back.
Jenny is one of the best customer service representatives that I’ve ever come across. She’s always so helpful and friendly. Re the stock, sometimes the physical store hasn’t uploaded their sale stock online, that would be the only ‘niggle’ I have.
I personally commended Jenny who is always helpful about any concerns that comes her way. She was knowledgeable about the stores products & services that is why she is the go to person of other staff. Plus factor is that she always finds a way to connect with her customers, not just with me but with other customers while she multitasks.
