Bought a butter chicken with rice and half a tandoori chicken. The young fellow who served me was very nice and chatty. Got the food home (3 minutes away) and got stuck in. The Tandoori chicken was dry and overly brined to the point all you could taste was a sodium burn in your mouth. The chicken was also very tough and the meat clung to the bone like it was mummified. Seemed the chicken was either at least 2 day old leftovers that didn’t sell or so poorly cooked and forgotten about that it may as well have been roadkill. The butter chicken was also involving dry but tasteless chicken. Yet this had a butter chicken sauce that tasted like something Pataks sells in bulk to food courts. It was sickly. Everything was bland. Indian food should be anything but. First and absolute LAST time money from this household will be spent there.

Disappointed with the quality of the the meals we ordered. We spent approximately $100 on four meals Butter chicken with nann and rice. Unfortunately nann was cold it had been put in the microwave to heat and definitely not fresh. Unfortunately it was not even warm and very hard to eat. The butter chicken was watery and lacked flavor. The portion sizes of chicken were decent but will not be coming back here again which is a shame as it is closer to home.

I’m not in the habit of giving less than favourable reviews, and on this occasion it’s not to knock the eatery but to hopefully encourage them to improve. Local eating places are important and I’m a firm believer of supporting local businesses. We have ordered food from here a good number of times and the quality of food has been good. However recently I have noticed a substantial drop in the quality of the food and tonight’s takeout was by far the worst. I had chicken Korma and was really taken aback by the bland and watery sauce. This is the first time that I couldn’t eat it all. I was so disappointed. I really want my local takeaway to be successful both for my benefit and theirs, but there needs to be a substantial improvement in the quality of food before I go back. Here’s hoping that things improve.

We got take away delivered, ordered at 5pm had it at 5.35 which is awesome as we are a 10min drive away. food was great quality was better than our closer Indian and curries were great! fresh and tasty, vegetarian selection is great, we also had a standard butter chicken witch was also great, agree that the naan could be bigger as with past reviews but apart from that we are very happy and will be making the switch.

Pros: - owners are absolutely lovely people - the "drunk chicken" was an absolutely amazing appetizer (see pic)β€” tangy, sweet and sour, so flavourful. Probably good as a main if you get some rice on the side. - we were given some garlic naan on the house Cons: - the bathroom was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week - I get itβ€” I'm a white guy and I'm not an authority on North Indian cuisine. But the beef vindaloo I had was unlike any vindaloo I've eaten. It just tasted like dry beef in underspiced tomato sauce. It breaks my heart not to leave a higher review, but it just wasn't excellent curry. I sympathize with the other reviewers who left worse reviews than me.

We booked the Heritage Bar & Eatery for our son’s 1st birthday and had the most wonderful experience here! Right from the start the communication was excellent, the food delicious and the staff and owners so so friendly and kind! We had a few guests including myself that had dietary requirements and they made it so easy to get those specific meals sorted too. So happy we chose to book our party here! Thank you so much guys :)

Order was WRONG each curry meal comes with rice. I bought 3 meals and received 2 rice. I heard that this place was good turns out it ain’t. To be really honest the curry tasted like pasta sauce with the boil chicken. No spices added what so ever. SO YUCK wasted my money. The naan bread was way too small. Estimated Delivery took way too long about 1 hour wait for a 300 meter distance drive. It’s best to make your own butter chicken at home.
