Fun and quirky. Definitely a novel experience as a place to stay. But it is in need of some repairs, and be aware that the tiny and oddly shaped bathroom is impractical, though usable.
Absolutely loved our stay in this unique and beautiful little place! Stunning views from the look out on the top, was a very unique way to spend the night! Fresh fruit was lovely.
Views are to die for. Bed was nice and comfortable, but breeze coming in from window above bed so stuffed a pillow in there.. Things looking a bit tired from my last stay. Cobwebs in the shower, and just stuff that needs updating. A unique experience anyway.
We had the most fantastic stay - what an incredible place! We’ve been raving about it to anyone who will listen. The wind and rough seas made it all the more exciting. We lost hours just staring out over the harbour. And such a great nights sleep in a comfy bed listening to the waves. We will definitely return. Thank you Bruce!
We loved the new bed, so comfy. An issue with the unpleasant gas smell on the first level which permeated up to the bedroom level. Had to open a window on a cold wet windy night to sleep without worrying about safety.. Also the drains need clearing from the kitchen sink. Maybe put some boards across to the power metre for when guests need to flip circuit breaker. Apart from that, we had a nice stay again. Yummy brekky, thanks Bruce. Lesley and Peter Must try the Keep next time.
Keep coming back here. .. a truly unique structure and incredibly dynamic location too... Awesome coastline and birds eye view. . Where urban. .. coastline. .. birdlife. .. trekkers and weather all come together.. amazing choice to locate an neat lookout.. thank you so much Bruce
