I've only ever had DoorDash meals from here but they have all been AMAZING. Flavourful, appropriate spice levels and interesting new dishes I've never tried before. Not your average curry factory but a thoughtful selection of deliciousness. Have stopped ordering from other Indian restaurants.
Just ordered and received my chicken mee goreng, extremely salty of the verge of inedible. Wondering if the salt shaker broke or something and the whole container ended up in my noodles. Disappointed as read good things
We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday and the place had a steady stream of customers either eating in or taking away. My boyfriend and I both ordered the dosa and agreed it was some of the best we’d had. The service was super attentive (given the chef / owner was the only one working that shift), the food was delicious, and the restaurant and toilets were nice and clean. We’ve both happily agreed to make this a new regular.
Amazing food ... flavorful and yummy roti canai (especially the egg roto canai). Portion sizes are huge for the price of them. The masala tea is super delicious - highly recommend that. I will need to come back and try more of the menu :)
Went a few weeks ago before a flight out of Wellington. Awesome food and great customer service, and the best and biggest roti I've ever had! However, the best part was when I asked for a very hot curry. The curry came out with spicy paste to mix in at my discretion, and I was asked if it was hot enough (don't think I've ever been asked if there's enough spice in my food!). When I said no, they brought out more spice mix on a separate platter to add as I pleased, which was awesome!
Nice and authentic chicken briyani kothu parotta and masala dosa warm welcome and good customer service by chef/owner muthu. Will see back again. Recommended south indian cuisine in wellington.
Great food! The besttt dosa one could find in whole town. The size of dosa will keep you full until next meal. Sambar is too good. Service is so great. Very helpful and kind. Chef Muthu Anna is so humble and does a fantastic job. Must visit if you are craving for South Indian food. Ambience is good too! Overall had a great experience.
The food is awesome with warm and excellent customer service from whole team. Do visit for authentic south Indian or Malaysian food. The flavours are superb. The place is near by to the domestic airport. Broadway at Miramar is absolutely worth the visit. Keep up the good work and we’ll surely visit again whenever visiting Wellington for sure.
we walked in from Wellington city centre to go to the Weta Workshop and were craving some tasty food after for lunch. this place hit the spot and more! my bf had been looking for Indian and i was looking for some Malay food so this was perfect. the beef rendang with coconut rice (+ garlic roti) were excellent. and the butter chicken my bf had was fantastic. the owner was incredibly nice and helpful and i hope people continue to enjoy this little gem. and naturally, i ordered the gulab jamun (one of my favourite desserts ever) and they were also quite nice. worth the trip out from Wellington or if you happen to find yourself in the area.
