   We went for lunch and ordered the highlighted items on the menu (refer to the pictures for details, focusing on the highlighted items in red) along with a large bubble passion fruit juice (NZD 7.50). The food was served promptly and tasted good overall. The rice dish was delicious, the dumplings were average, and the juice was refreshing and flavorful. We requested the prawns to be deep-fried a bit more, and they accommodated our request without hesitation. The prices were reasonable, and we would recommend this place to others.

   Had food from both bbq noodle houses and this one is the best one by far. I got spicy pork fat on rice, half a duck, bbq pork fried rice and Roast pork fried noodles and they were just the best, cooked great and I loved it. The one next door if I'm being honest was average at best. If you're looking for good food especially the ones I ordered, go here you won't be disappointed

   Wanted to give it a try since it’s so popular although i didn’t see many Asians inside. My friends ordered fried noodles, both salty and the shao rou (roast pork) was nearly black in color. I ordered eggplants pot, It was too salty and the exterior of the eggplants were not purple either.

   Eeny, Meeny, Miny, Moe ... and I picked 932 instead of 930. I wanted to order something not so heavy after all the Christmas gatherings, so I ordered 'Soy Sauce Chicken on Noodles'. It should be a very common dish for any bbq restaurant. However, I couldn't believe my eyes when they delivered the food to me - how could it look unappetizing? For a BBQ restaurant that could cook such food was really hard to achieve, and they did it. I attached a photo of my chicken noodles and the picture pasted on their wall. Although it was a picture, many restaurants could do that, just not this one.

   My family & I are regulars here. We travel from South Akl to get our Salt n Pepper Squid fix and Salt n Pepper Prawns and (Pork on rice with Duck sauce). This place is intimate which we like, it has a family feel, very quick service. Service with a smile every time we have attended. My family & I have had zero issues for the 2-3 years we’ve been going. We’ve also taken family from overseas just to try their Squid. You haven’t had Squid until you’ve tried Mt Albert Bbq Noodle House (932). See you again real soon.
