   This casual eatery with eclectic decor and a friendly vibe was a great find. Service is quick, pleasant and efficient. The young lady in the kitchen is passionate about the food she serves. We went with her recommendation, this being our first visit. The Australian Fry Egg served with toasted buns is finger licking good. A must try. Tandoori chicken was juicy, flavorful and not your standard fare. She uses good ingredients, makes her own spice mix and adds her unique stamp to all her dishes. Do have a Nimbu soda (salty, mildly spiced Indian lemonade with little fizz) which is a good accompaniment, palate cleanser and a digestive. Masala chai is refreshing and a good way to round out your meal. Outdoor seating with fire pit, ample space for casual gatherings is a plus. We left feeling we had been to a friend’s home for a comforting meal. All the best guys.

   Our new favourite family hang out.had my mum birthday celebrated. The owners are just amazing host!!! The food is to die for ..takes you back to the street of Mumbai!!!

   Family run place near Mt roskill Bunnings. We had 2 sandwiches to take away - A Bombay sandwich and cheese samosa toasted sandwich. Both fresh and tasty, came w chips and tomato sauce. I liked the sauce with the toasted sandwich but would have liked more green chutney for dipping the Bombay sandwich. Would happily order both again- $10.99 each sandwich. Want to try the vada pav and chole bhature next time when we will eat in. They also do curries and lots of other snacky things.

   I recently celebrated my son’s 1st birthday party here and we all had a fabulous time. Food was amazing, delicious from appetizers to dessert! The pani Poori and kadaipaneer were top notch! Most of our guest enjoyed the chaat dishes. Excellent service, the staff was courteous and professional. An awesome place in town for Indian (Gujju)food. I would strongly recommend Hungrry-la restaurant to anyone who would enjoy Indian food .

   This restaurant is a hidden gem in Auckland if you want authentic Indian food, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. The Chitali and Nikunj were great, and the setting had a very ethnic feel to it. The highlight and best part were the Australian Eggs Fried and Pani Puri. would like to go back. strongly advised.
