Overall ok. Not a lot of healthy options. Beers good. Great location on a nice day to sit outside in the sun. Service was ordinary, but ok. Small things could make a big difference.

Very accommodating staff, excellent service. Milkshake was good, and so the coffee. My wife enjoyed her Chili scrambled eggs but unfortunately for myself the beef burger was far below par. The bun was old and brittle and the mince tasted like it was on the verge of expiration. I didn't want to say anything at the time because of the great service but maybe something to keep an eye on for the future. Thanks

Great place with a wide selection of menu items to suit every taste. They also have a K9 menu full of doggie treats! We sat at an outside table with our little dog and she really enjoyed the awesome dog biscuits.

Beachside neighbourhood cafe that provides food and drinks (breakfast, lunch or dinner), with the option of indoor or outdoor dining. Food menu range from usual options (e.g. cakes, pastries, burger, fish and chips, etc) to vegetarian/ vegan options. The menu does change over time- they used to make a great shakshuka. Food portions are generous. Service is hit and miss depending who attends to you- some are attentive and others not so. But I find when the manager (Iβm assuming the gentleman with the beard) is present, itβs great. The place does sometimes get pact (usually nice sunny days or when everything else is closed on a public holiday) and I sense the staff do get overwhelmed and things get a bit disorganised- lines between new and leaving customers become blurred. If it rains, there is no extendable outside awning (the umbrellas only provide shade), so seating can become limited to just the sheltered patio and indoor space. Atmosphere is my favourite part of the place- quirky, kitchy, vintage kind of Hawaiian tiki feel. Dog friendly (purchase dog cookies at counter and water bowls provided outside) and kid friendly. Only thing I wish could be improved is the coffee- I find itβs a bit burnt.

This was our first weekend after we moved to Wellington for good. Went to this cafe with a amazing review ratings only to be disappointed in multiple forms - food was over-toast and over-crisp, took a few attempts to remind the busy servers about any request. Only reason Iβm not going with a 1-star review is because they offered 50% discount for the forgettable experience we had. Lesson learnt - never to visit over on a busy day (any sunny weekend).

I love this place so much! It's the kind of place where you absolutely know you are always going to get great service and amazing food. We went to try the Burger Wellington offerings, and unlike most other places, it was amazing for my non vegan partner and my vegan self to feel like we were both having the same experience, as there are matching burgers. I would absolutely recommend this place for a great meal out and even more so if you have a fur baby, as they have a whole extra menu, just for them!

I really liked the ambience. The coffee and pastries were both very good. Will definitely go back to try the food as well.

We came here after looking at the menu online, and the food did not disappoint! Yesterday we'd bought coffee to takeaway which we enjoyed, and today we came for dinner. Three adults and three kids, four cheese fondue for the kids to share and a vegan and gf fondue for the adults. Great food all round! Friendly staff, with good service, we look forward to coming back next time we're in Wellington! β€οΈ

I was craving for something spicy yesterday and their burrito was just the right thing for my craving and the weather. They were very busy, so understandably wait for a little while before the food arrived. The good thing was all the food and the coffees were good.
