   We were pleasantly surprised at how much this Dennys has improved since we last came here a year ago. They attended to us right away, the menus were new , the servers took our orders promptly and our food was served in a timely manner. We have a family of six - everyone felt like something different , and Dennys New Lynn satisfied our picky eaters. This branch has a better vibe than Manukau- servers are more professional and courteous . It is clean throughout. It was the only family restaurant open at 9p in New Lynn(other than McDs) Highly recommend this spot for families with picky eaters. There’s something on the menu for every palate. And the deserts here are always good!

   First time customer here - family of 4. Food & Service was great. 10 mins after ordering we were served all our food and beverages. Pricing a little on the expensive side but reasonable given the current financial climate. There weren't very many people dining at the time we were there, so it was a pleasant atmosphere. Downside - The booth we were allocated could've been wiped down and swept; the same with the walls. Its not nice for Customers to see crumbs, food, hair from previous diners & dust where your going to sit and eat your food (yuck) - one star marked down because of this. Apart from that, will we dine here again? - yes probably, with the hope they sanitise the place better. Recommend they play some cafe style music to add to the ambience.

   Had other dishes here too but everything was either salty or dry. The rice, was like plastic. The initial service in showing our table was like having menus and dishes and cutlery slid across the table at us. Waiters need to give better service training or be fired. Not happy with the food or service here at all. Not worth the money spent here.

   Had a rude host/waitress the whole night while out with family. We sat close to the kitchen. Food was disgusting but we had to eat as we had to pay before we eat. While next to the kitchen host arguing with staff on hand. One of the staff and a breakdown. Just the whole night was train wreck. Denny’s New Lynn really has become run down.

   We came in today for lunch and it was quite empty however it took 45-50mins to get our food to us be prepared for a wait I assume they only have 1 cook during the day we ordered drinks and shakes as well and were only given 1/3 shakes till we went and approached FOH that there were still 2 missing which came out just before the food did. Curly fries were nice and crispy and rest of the food was as you expect
