My barber was fantastic – took the time to understand what I was after, offered suggestions, and kept checking in every step of the way. He was a great listener and genuinely cared about getting the style right, not just rushing through. Highly recommend – and the price was pretty decent too!
Honestly, I don’t ever leave reviews but I’ve been encouraged to by the people around me. I don’t mean any bad intent to anyone or the barber I attended, and I won’t name and shame. He was a nice guy, but I came in to get my hair a bit tidied, and asked for about half an inch off the top as I’ve been loving the length and that longer messy look. We even measured it out and I was really happy with what he said he’d cut. I didn’t even realise how short it was until he was done. I’m sure it looks good on others, but for someone with a round face I rely on my longer hair to balance things out. My appointment was also running 25 mins behind so I ended up with a parking ticket. Maybe that’s put a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve attached a before and after to show the difference. All the best for your business, but just please consider your customers wishes. Thanks.
Honestly one of the best haircuts I've ever had. Great staff, clean shop, good price, and when I say one of the best, I'm referring to the cut itself. Charles made me look a lot better coming out of here than most barber shops I've been to. Honestly kinda annoyed I'm about to end my vacation and go back to America, because it means I won't be able to get cut here again. Highly recommended whether you're a local or a shaggy traveller like myself.
Skilled hairdresser , good bunch of guys, but I did not get what I asked for/wanted for beard. bit of miscommunication. I only asked for length off bottom of beard trimmed for a rounded look. I was then/unwillingly blindfolded and told to wake up when its finished. When the blindfold was removed the side of my cheeks and side burns were shaved right down and a new lower cheek line had been cut. He did a good job for the haircut on head. After being recommended this barber by Boar & Blade on Instagram for specializing in Bread Trims I am very disappointed and also annoyed I have to wait 7+ months to reach the full beard I had before. Not worth $71.05. I will never be returning.
Elliot does a job way better than Gillette getting that foil head shave as close as possible. Definitely coming back if I’m in Auckland and need a good haircut

I had an absolutely fantastic experience with this barber. I went in after having a terrible haircut elsewhere where I was left with uneven and wispy hair, and I was desperately in need of help. Fortunately, this barber came to the rescue and completely turned things around. From the moment I walked in, the barber was incredibly friendly and professional, taking the time to understand what I was looking for and what had gone wrong with my previous cut. They were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable, and I felt completely confident in their abilities. The end result was nothing short of amazing. My hair was completely transformed, with a perfect balance of length and texture that looked both natural and stylish. The barber paid attention to every detail, making sure that everything was perfect before I left the salon.
