   Drinks and atmosphere is really cool. Service is great. Could do with better food options / snack food. But drinks and atmosphere are enough of a reason to visit. Great bar.

   Drinks and the service are top tier. Though they do not have many food options and we were told by the staff themselves to not order the corn bites. All in all its a lovely place full of character, and provides a great time for you and your friends.

   I absolutely LOVE this bar! It is an absolute hidden pirate oasis! whenever I visit Wellington I always have to have a night at R bar, It's like the pirates of the caribbean ride at Disneyland but with booze!! I love the flaming cinnamon drink! and the staff risking the hairs on their arms to do it. The staff are amazing and the drinks they make are delicious, only one feedback about the service is that its a shame the staff aren't in some sort of pirate themed regalia or even accessory just to complete the pirate themed experience. The only other feedback is that there aren't any bar snacks to help absorb the drinks so I can have more!!

   This bar is a hidden gem, capable of bringing out the pirate in anyone! The thrill of discovering this place was truly rewarding. The atmosphere and decor are remarkable, with artificial skulls on the wall showcasing meticulous attention to detail. Every corner offers unique seating options and ambiance, making the experience truly special. The staff is delightful and enjoyable to chat with. The "Skull Punch" drink, served with a spectacular fiery show, is a definite recommendation for the thrilling experience it provides. Exploring the various rum-based cocktails was a fun adventure. Surprisingly, the place wasn't overly busy for a Friday night, adding to the overall positive experience.

   100% would definitely recommend to anyone. The atmosphere is a 10/10. My only complaint is that they don’t play pirate music in there. I feel like that is a huge missed opportunity. Like just being in a pirate themed bar with pirate music while with my mates would just be a whole lot of fun. But other than that this is my only complaint:)

   The Rbar staff here are amazing people! I see them working really hard from tuesdays-saturdays non stop. They Handle customers as well as they're passionate about the drinks they make!(I highly suggest Croc the ship). To the reviews who say this place is terrible and have very bad drinks, are mostly the customers who come in already with a bad pish-posh fancy yankee attitude, or already completely drunk, and start yelling at the staff when they're already busy making the drinks for a already very busy night. Don't let those bad reviews stray you away from checking out this very friendly secretive-like Bar, since they were most likely impatient and wanted fastfood-like service! Tuesdays have a fun pirate quiz night with mini games for you and your group of friends to play, and compete with other groups to win prizes!(which also includes the R bar staff playing as well!) So if you ever have time to come and check out this Cool pirate themed bar, definitely come and talk with the Rbar staff, as they are super friendly and welcoming! Thank you for Serving me R-bar! Definitely becoming a regular here!

   Ŕrrrrrr it was a trip. Wandering in, going down to the depths and being happily surprised and amused at every corner. Pretty amazing space they have created. Just very cool. Delicious drinks and quesadilla's. Fun vibe.

   Super neat atmosphere. Quality mixed drinks with Pirate themes. Grab a rum flight but feel free to ask the bartender to customize it with your preference to rums. Just let them know your style and have them choose and definitely try something out of your comfort zone.
