   If you want your shoes to fall apart and are unrepairable after barely any use (look at the soles) and have the store disregard your consumer guarantee rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act, so that the product is of acceptable quality and fit for purpose for longer than just 12 months, then opt for the Julius Marlow brand at Pat Menzies.

   Alisha and Cassandra both helped me when the wrong size of shoe was sent. Another pair arrived the next day. Those were also too small and having sent them back, I think the replacement pair was forgotten but once I reached out they ensured the shoes were couriered that day for the delivery the next day and they had included a pair of socks as an apology. It is VERY rare to receive just good customer service and deal with such friednly and accomodating people in this day and age so Thank you!! Whoever owns this store is lucky to have such fantastic staff!! Will definitely shop here again.

   Popped in here a few times trying on sneakers and Birkenstocks. Seriously great staff - everyone is super friendly and they offer you water (!!!) what a treat! I had the absolute best time with Sammy, she has great chat and also really attentive to my needs when I was looking for specific shoes (I’m picky). I wouldn’t come to Commercial Bay very often but this store is definitely one of the highlights there. Go there for the best shoes retail experience.

   Awesome customer service from Alisha! Genuine, super friendly, great attitude and approachable all the while being professional and respectful . Didn’t feel scripted like some places. It’s refreshing especially coming from a store in this location, where staff can be the complete opposite and sometimes leave feeling dehumanised. Danny was awesome too dealt with him over email. Great communication and handling of my package and quick to respond. Overall great first experience. Thanks Danny and Alisha!

   It’s really difficult to find shoe store like this Auckland nowadays I reckon. All the staff who have helped me out did so like it’s them buying their own shoes. Super sincere, raises those small concerns that I hadn’t even thought of. Knows how to get a good pair of shoes that fits perfectly and how to maintain them. Great service, I am actually really grateful. Will definitely come back for another pair soon. Thank you!
