I had a check up with Dr Raymond and a hygienist cleaning from Tess - both of them were super friendly and made me feel at ease. I don’t love going to the dentist (who does?) but they made me feel really comfortable and the whole process was super easy. (I had a check up with Dr Nancy a few years ago and she was lovely as well!)
Flash are the best! I approached a new dentist feeling nervous because I knew I needed some restorative dentistry to worn-down lower teeth caused by bridge work in my upper teeth. My concern was unnecessary. From the very first consultation, the Flash team were amazing and made me feel relaxed. I've just completed a series of sessions (about 10 hours) to fit 9 crowns and do some posterior composite fills to adjust the bite. A special thanks to Dr Nancy Chen and Cleo whose skill, professionalism and sense of humour made everything a breeze. After my first 5.5 hour session, I felt zero pain, and that has been the case since. After wearing temporary crowns for a couple of weeks, the final zirconia crowns were fitted and they are amazing. Thanks also to Freyia, Rhiannon, Dr Sandra Mathew (and anyone else I've forgotten to mention) for looking after me on every visit.
Always fantastic service and great advice from Ray. And such a lovely bunch of people - Rhiannon, Tess and the entire team. Highly recommended to anyone who's a little fearful of dentists (not that I am) as they are so welcoming and reassuring you'll feel comfortable immediately. Also amazing to watch Ray and Rhiannon work together as a team - it's like dance partners. No words needed - it's the kind of telepathy that comes from years of experience working together!
Wonderful service! From the moment we walked in the practice, we were greeted by a friendly receptionist with a smile. Raymond Joe, without a doubt, is a highly professional and sleek dentist who engenders great confidence. Everything was fixed in timely manner and the charge is very reasonable. We walked out the practice with a big smile. Highly recommended.
Discovered Flash through my dad, who's been going to them for 10+ years. I got my first appointment with Nancy. She absolutely brilliant! She is so precise and very good at communicating what she's doing as she's doing it. The level of care is incredible. She did a root canal on my front tooth, which is difficult and risky, which made for me being a nervous patient, but with her quiet confidence and reassurance she put me at ease. It's so relieving to have a trusting and skilled dentist that doesn't cost the earth. Couldn't recommend Flash and Nancy enough!

I go as far to say this is the best dental surgery in NZ (or maybe the world!). I experience high anxiety when seeing dentists and Ray and Rhiannon knew exactly how to make me feel comfortable, informed and cared for. Ray took the time to assess what needed to be treated and we made a five year plan together. Ray tackled the most urgent things first and then as I had the funds we completed the plan. Flash have been very empathetic about my limited funds and treated me with dignity and respect. Ray always explained what treatment I needed and patiently explained what my options were. I always understood what was happening. I am very more thankful for the whole team and I would always choose Flash.
Perfect! This guys literally saved me. I was in different dental clinics in Russia and Germany, but this one was the best experience in my life! Dr Raymond is the greatest dentist ever!
