Bar Celeste has become a bit of a K Rd institution. Food excellent - contemporary European, fabulous wine and attentive service.
We had a brilliant dining experience in Bar Celeste. They made us feel super welcoming. Cuisines were done perfectly. We enjoyed it very much.
The wine and food was amazing! We got the carte blanche menu and each dish was so flavorful and unique with a French flare. Fun selection of natural wines. Highly recommend this place!
Twice now I’ve been to Pizzaria Céleste and had incredible experiences. The food is so divine, delicious pizza dough cooked to perfection with fresh and high quality toppings. The thing I am most impressed by is the service!!!! Impeccable. I believe our server both times was Summer (? very sorry if I have gotten that wrong) who went the extra mile. I often note on reservations that our dietary requirements are halal but have never had any restaurant acknowledge this. Tonight the wonderful staff had taken the time to mark on our own copy of the menu which items were suitable for halal diet. I’m blown away and grateful for this attentive service which was the theme for the night. Would 10/10 recommend Bar Céleste! Beautiful space also.
Really disappointed by our recent trip to Bar Céleste. We were really looking forward to it but the food was extremely sub par, especially for the money. The staff were lovely but incredibly inattentive. We had the oysters to start which were great, but then our mains came out separately despite indicating we wanted to share the mains at the same time. The fish crudo was tasteless and cut really thick, the burrata is served in an agrodolce which is odd, and had no accompanying bread. We had to order and pay for focaccia to eat with the burrata. The servers never refilled our waters without us asking- which we had to ask every few minutes given they don’t leave the bottles at your table. The chef indicated the food was ready a number of times before the staff would pick it up and deliver it to the tables. The restaurant itself has a gorgeous feel and atmosphere. It’s a shame the food and the staff’s handle of the restaurant isn’t stronger.
Was expecting great things for the price however in reality was a little dissapointed. Probably best as a small group or date situation as we went in a group of 10 and didn't get great service on the night. Food was great, not amazing for the prices and drinks being pretty good. Portion sizes were decent.
Top contenders for best date night dinner spot! The food was delicious and I love its cozy atmosphere. You must go!
Amazing staff and nice atmosphere. Our first two starters were out of this world amazing, sourdoughs and buratta. I wish it Never ended, I will definitely order these two again! Then ordered the flounder which was cooked to perfection, so buttery and tender. The gnocchi was also very good!
