Delicious Fish & Chips in Island bay! Batter is light and tasty, chips beautifully cooked! Fried Rice was also a star tasty and excellent portion size. Fast and efficient and great value for money! Highly recommend.
The owner is always rude and has zero customer service skills. He really annoys me every time. But the food is always so good and consistent that i keep going back to be subjected to his poor behavior and absolutely delicious burgers and chips. Best and most consistent chips in the wellington district.
The mussel fritters were amazing and the fish we got too. It tasted like real and fresh fish and the batter was crunchy and soft at the same time. The man that was taking our orders and making our food was really gentle. Thank you for the best fish & chips I’ve had in New Zealand!
The chicken burgers are incredible; the fish and chips are excellent; and the Chinese takeaways are also pretty good here. The wontons are a bit under par (sausage meat), but the rest of the dishes are well cooked with a good amount of meat. This is a good choice for a range of choices.
The no frills neighbourhood takeaway Fish N Chip shop. Not too bad. And the scallops were huge!
The shop was clean and the service was quick. Unfortunately, the chips we ordered were some of the worst I've had. They were thin chips, kinda between a normal chip thickness and a shoestring fry. They were dry and had the texture of cardboard. It's pretty important to get this right if it's one of the main things your store sells. The seagulls had a good feed.
All round good fish and chip shop. Fish is always yummy and moist and chips usually pretty good. Nice owners
Wow!! I ordered a chicken fillet burger with extra bacon and a curry roll and I am amazed! It was super delicious and I ordered it as a late night snack to eat when I got hungry, but I instantly demolished the burger as soon as I arrived home. I have never had such a great burger that wasn't from WOAP. Great job!!
