Love this place, we always get the lemon chicken and a combination fried rice at least, but have also loved the spicy chicken, green beans, and the spicy eggplant.
We’ve enjoyed combined fried rice dish over 3 decades & other lovely food here, but recently were very disappointed. Much reduced beef, in fact reduction of all ingredients and very little pork. At $16+ poor value all round. Sad to see the reduction of quality & hope it was an apparition.
Delicious food. I wouldn't normally go for the buffet as I like my food cooked fresh. However, the buffet was so popular it was being restocked regularly. The portions are huge (compared to the UK)
Good portions, good food, and incredibly lovely staff. Run by a husband and wife, you can tell they really care about the work they do - always greeting you with a beaming smile and making you feel welcomed. Really above and beyond in terms of service!
I love going to Wing Long to get my takeaways. The portion size, the generous ingredients and price is better than many other competitors. You don't feel ripped off there. If you have not tried it, give it a go.
It is my favorite takeaway. As every takeaway does, not all their food are delicious. However, I love the combination noodles, sweet and sour pork, spicy sichuan chicken, Singapore noodles, tofu, eggplant. The dish is larger than the other takeaways and they are tasty. The old couple are very nie and I felt that I am welcome.
I'm not a local but every now & then I work in Karori. I have to say they do very nice chinese food,the one dish I had recently was Singapore noodle. A Very friendly couple that let me use there toilet out the rear of the building
Good place to satisfy your fish and chips craving. Their crumbed fish is really good and that is what I usually order. Their half chicken is also yum, reminds me of a chicken resto back home. Friendly staff as well.
Wasn't sure about this place. I normally go to another local chippie but it was closed and I was hungry. Not unhappy with the service, speed or portion. Have to say though it's the only place I've ever been where you get the number of potato fritters you order. Most chip shops double the order. Chips are crisp and golden, I suspect they are McCain chips rather than their own.
