How can lachha parantha be burnt from some places and still be uncooked in between. If it was a late order, the staff could have rejected it instead of sending half cooked food or half burnt food
Lovely meal here tonight. Plenty of choices on the menu. Great flavours and plenty in each dish. Loved the Lamb Korma, Butter Chicken and Sizzling Chicken Platter. Garlic Naan was great too, generous serving of rice. Great, quick service. Will come again.
Shame they no longer give RICE with their main dishes. Crazy! After all these years supporting this restaurant we get curry with no rice. Be warned! What is curry without rice?? Seriously!
We visited this place after moving back from Palmerston North as it was one of our favourites, and wow! It’s even better than I remember. Even though the restaurant was filled with like 50 guests, they stilled managed to deliver an absolutely perfect meal, and along with amazing customer service, which was just so amazing! And to top it off they have really good specials that make dining out so affordable. Thank you thank you thank you for focusing on delivering such a wonderful experience! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Amazing food , great customer service, wonderful ambience . We had starters of veg platter includes onion bhaji , samosa , paneer tikka, momo Manchurian mains including Mathi malai paneer, dal dadka , jeera rice , Raita , butter naan and cheese/garlic naan, vegetable salad , papad . Great deals of $14.99 mains on mon to Wednesday. Must try
Faced Lack of transparency and felt cheated. The food that I took take-away was priced massively different at every place. I was charged $24.7 for the item, for what was printed in their takeway and outside door menu as $14.5. The excuse which they said was inflation. I then checked the uber eats app at that moment to know what the scenerio is and found it to be priced $15.5. Thus charging a massive difference to me from their walkin menu was definitely a horrible experience. Hence definitely a No to this place and wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to others.
Totally loved our dinner at Chaahat last night. Service was excellent, food was amazing and shockingly well-priced! Plenty of vegetarian options. The restaurant was packed, but our food was beautifully prepared quite quickly. We were a group of 9, and nobody was kept waiting long. Kids loved the smoking brownie - but beware - the platter is terrifyingly hot. They will get burned if they accidentally touch it. The mango kulfi was a much safer bet - beautifully presented, and just like all the food - with an authentic taste of India.
I’ve been coming here religiously for a few years now, usually making the most of the $12.99 takeaway mains they offer from Monday - Wednesday. The butter chicken is top tier!
