My dog was here for a long weekend and it was his first sleep out ever. He appeared very well fed and well looked after. The owner was friendly and very helpful. Will use them again.
Yeah not hugely impressed to be fair. Owner opened the door to our cats unit to find she had pooed on the floor, and weed in her basket (which was quite wet). Additional to this, there was vomit on the floor. I'm not convinced this all happened this morning before I arrived. I also messaged the owner during the week to check our cat was eating ok and did not receive a response even though mobile is on website. Lovely location, resonable sized units with stuff to climb on, but we will not be bringing Tui back.
HIghly recommend Beaver Road Pet Motel, we use weekly for daycare and also overnight stays when needed. Tomi is so excited to go, loves Pete and Jan so much and is always tired after a day playing. I know he is safe and cared for while I'm at work
Beaver Road Pet Motel has been a life saver for us! They took on our CollieX knowing he is a master at escaping when no other kennel would a few years ago. They have the extra high fences and are in a nice calming country side area with great size kennels for our fur babies. Our dogs will happily head straight on in when we drop them off and are always happy on pick up. I really appreciate the team at Beaver Road Pet Motel for taking such great care of them :)
Please please don’t deal with these people! DO NOT leave your fur babies with them under any circumstance. We Left our lovely dog with them, dealt with their son who was nice, but Janice was rude. Dog came back dirty and stinky but seemed happy enough. Recently My son Contacted Janice to book our boy in over Xmas and she was very difficult to deal with, she asked him to email details of dates and our dogs details which he did. He was never told the dates weren’t available. Only to have Janice email 1 week out from our booking and tell us there was no availability. I phoned Janice to ask her what happened? She was so rude, and awful to me, she laughed at me rudely and tried to belittle me. It was disgusting and disgraceful. So unprofessional!!! She then said she would book our dog in but I would be paying $49 a day ( this is more than their going rate for their largest dog!!) After the way I had been treated by Janice we felt very uncomfortable leaving our beloved dog with her. This person is horrible, if she could treat me like this how does she treat animals in her care!!!! No Thanks!! Have found a lovely kennels for our boy $29 a day over Xmas!!! That’s $ 20 a day cheaper than Beaver rd Kennels!! Also- there’s no where nice for your dogs to run on grass, no space! Horrible place!! A total rip off!!!
Nice place and easy to get to from the motorway if your heading south but a bit tricky to get to if your heading north. We decided to try this pet motel as our usual pet motel was full and it ended up being cheaper. The owners are lovely people and they know what they are doing. However one downside is if your dropping of a dog and a cat you have to go to different entrances. However they also don't have eftpos but they will take cash or give you a bank transfer slip. Will happily use them again.
Great kennels. My beagle seems to love it here and owners are friendly and accommodating. I have no concerns about leaving my dog here; I think he enjoys the holiday. Very convenient location if you are wanting to drop your pet off while heading south out of Auckland.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED A++++++ Finding a good day care for our dog has been challenging and stressful. Owners are great and very caring. They are truly passionate about providing top quality and caring services to dogs. Their team are multi talented with skills capable of managing dogs either big / small, full of energy or quiet and shy. The staff here are awesome, fun, and professional and you can truly see their passion and love for our dog. I am so grateful to have found this place.. They know what they’re doing and treat every dog with the unique kindness it deserves. I highly recommend for anyone needing a reliable doggy day care. Know that you pets are in very great hands and will be well cared for and loved.
