Great medium sized Indian food shop with a wide selection of goods. Handy to SH2 but beware, the dedicated parking spaces can be in high demand at peak times. Good prices plus they have some fresh vegetables and Indian sweet treats. My favourite in Wellington!
The girls at counter are really rude . When we smile also they show attitude. We keep the shopping bag next to counter and they dont place the item even when there is no queue/ crowd. Instead of makeup plz wear smile. Comparatively last six months going to Bombay bazaar , spice rack. Just for the positive vibes.
So brought a stainless Steel pressure cooker for 125$. However, it turned out to be the fault one. Fault was, the lid was not getting close properly and when it’s closed and I tried to open it the Handel got broken. So went to the lower Hutt store ask for any Solution they said they can’t do anything because it got broken because and their police’s won’t allow. Nothing against the hard working and friend staff . However, your companies police’s are not up to the mark and I’m very disappointed.

I recently visited an Indian supermarket and was impressed with the overall experience. The store was well-organized and had a wide variety of products. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by a staff boy in specs. He was knowledgeable about the products and went out of his way to assist me in finding what I needed. His friendly demeanor and willingness to help made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this supermarket to anyone in the area.
It's a great place to get all the Indian spices, veggies, pickles, sweets, oil and a lot more. It has a lot of south indian and north indian stuff with a lot of indian brands. It's a bit costly but if you're really carving for some paneer butter masala or some idiyapam or some sweet jalebi you can grab it here.
Atmosphere was not decent but goods seemed very comprehensive, especially for the spices. My husband and I found their vegetables not very good quality even though they had cheap prices tagged. It's a small place to shop but if you are interested in buying spices, I would recommend this shop. Otherwise, mornibg market is better.
