The food was amazing and so was the service - the staff is very friendly and helpful. My order was so fresh, fast and everything was still accurate. The restaurant is also very clean & tidy and gets cleaned as soon as a table gets freed.

Always impressed with this branch! Orders are prepared quickly and just the way I ask for them. The food is fresh, delicious, and consistent every time. The place is tidy and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely one of the best KFCs I’ve been to!
We visited in the evening and ordered a couple of family meals. 1st order was perfect and 2nd order needed a slight change but the manager and team were very accommodating and quickly gave us what we needed and even gave few more stuff. We have been to other branches but by far this one is the best. We come here often from Hamilton.
I always have a great experience at KFC Takanini, mainly because of the manager, Deep. He is very professional, friendly, and always makes sure customers are looked after properly. The service here is consistently good, and the staff are well managed. Even though Papakura KFC is just a 1-minute drive from me, I still prefer coming to KFC Takanini because of the better service and overall experience. Highly recommend this store!
Hand down thank you to the ending shift staff members for tonight ! Our 1 year old German Shepard decided it was a good idea to jump the fence and go chill eating chicken ! They took care of him and stayed with him even called animal control thankfully we found him after searching for a while. My apologies to everyone who was dining there with a puppy :( ! I placed my order to take away but only received half of it. I didn't realise until I got home so I drove back and they had forgotten to give me the second bag. As you can imagine, I was heading back a little irate but they handled the situation with excellence, super friendly, quick, helpful and very professional (and the chicken tasted great!!!). I walked out a very satisfied customer! Takanini has one of the best customer service I have seen in a long time 'anywhere'. Well done team. Highly recommended!
Just absolute disrespectful behavior from the staff! Had some wrong items so asked for it to be swapped for the correct items felt as though we were being inconvenient. Then had some items missing and the worker is standing far from the window with a confused face and then got told "it should be in there" yes you're right, it should be but it's not thats why I'm telling you. On top of that, food was not even that great. Hire better staff! And it wasn't even that busy so makes it even more pathetic can understand if its busy.
I had the worst experience at the KFC Takanini location. The service was incredibly slow and the staff were extremely rude. I waited for over 40 minutes for my order, only to be told that they had run out of chicken and that it would be another 20 minutes. I decided to wait and after another 20 minutes, they informed me that my chicken had been given to an Uber driver as they prioritize Uber orders over walk-in customers. I was extremely frustrated and requested a refund, but the staff member I spoke to was incredibly rude and dismissive, telling me that it wasn't their fault that they didn't have enough staff. I couldn't believe the level of disrespect I received as a customer who had already been waiting for over an hour. It's important to note that if they had informed me of the long wait time at the time of ordering, I would have made a different decision. But instead, they wasted my time and made me feel disrespected and undervalued as a customer. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service at KFC Takanini and would not recommend this location to anyone. The staff need to improve their customer service skills and the management needs to sort out their staff levels and customer prioritization policies. I won't be returning to this location and I hope that they can improve their service for the sake of their customers."
