   Was actually looking for other options but was recommended by one of the staff at one of the wineries. What turned up is in fact one of the best meal we had in this trip. The smoked chicken is one of the best I have eaten given the juiciness of the breast meat , the brisket literally melts in the mouth. Usually not a fan of pulled pork as it is either too tough to chew or that too much seasoning in it . What we liked is in fact it is not too flavorful yet enough seasoning to make it delicious .

   First time here. Seen this place via social media. Great food, good service. Decor matches the atmosphere. Ordered the full Monty share plate which was more than enough for 4 of us! Eyes and stomach were bigger then what we assumed we could manage. Plenty of food taken away for re-heat midnight trip to the bathroom via the kitchen.

   Loved our visit to Morepork. Something different but delicious. We were three adults and ordered the pulled lamb, the pork belly, potato salad, deviled eggs, spring rolls, a house salad and the best chips in Auckland, if not the country! The Mac spring rolls were very disappointing, tasteless, wouldn't recommend these. The portions were a good size. The salad, though, was big enough for four people! We came home with boxes of leftovers. The staff was very friendly and we were well looked after. We were celebrating a birthday so we pre-ordered a cake. It was a yummy chocolate cake and our friend was very happy with it. Only thing I would highly recommend is they need to place big signs on the road on both directions (coming from Auckland as well as coming from Kumeu center) as the entrance to this restaurant is easily missed. Good experience and will come back again.

   This is exceptional Texas BBQ. Friendly staff great atmosphere. Had the 200g brisket and sides of slaw and fries, perfect, as good as I’ve ever had in Texas if not better. Only question, no burnt ends on the menu?

   Made an order on the phone for a pick up and the lady hung-up too quick when I wasn’t even done talking. Food is very average and a bit over priced. The shredded lamb was mixed with shredded pork. Food was good but not the best.

   Great place, nice and tidy. Staff are very lovely too. Love that the kids menus are colouring pictures so that keeps them entertained and the kids meals are actually really nice too. We also loved our burgers we got and the platter. Would have loved some more flavour on the meat in the platter though. It was abit under seasoned. But other then that we enjoyed our time here.
