   Store closes at 5pm, we went there at 4:25pm for the dog wash only asked for two tokens which would only take up to 20mins. Not enough to leave staff to do clean up wrap up for the day within 15mins? Informed that it’s a store policy- what a joke, please have this info on your store website. Wasted time to travel to the store and money for the annual pass for dog wash…

   The staff are incredibly rude if you are trying to buy a fish they quiz you for a million questions and still refuse you. I tried to purchase a betta multiple times and was denied despite already being a betta owner and having the correct set up and water levels. I have bettas from other animates and have never faced this treatment.

   GROOMING of Shitzhu Bishon, not the easiest groom, is carried out expertly by Anne at Lower Hutt store, Every groom is of a very high standard. All of my requests re length, face shape etc are perfect. All of the staff at the grooming room are highly professional friendly, caring of my dog. I highly recommend.

   Went in to wash our dog, there was a long line of ppl waiting for the dog wash to be available. It's normal Saturday stuff tho, so no issues there. My plan was to wash the dog and buy him a nice warm jersey, but there were no clothing specials at all! I went next door to Pete's emporium, but they had nothing too. They need a winter clothing special, because buying a dog jacket for $80 is not the go. Staff are always amazing tho. Unfortunately their dog food is really expensive, so we order ours online.

   I gave up using their website because they always lose my CC details or they do not have dog food to ship, but it is sitting on the shelf in the store. The other day I came to get some dog food. I had a question regarding their dog wash operations. The sign says one need a $10 or $20 dollar notes to operate. Unfortunately, the staff member could not give me an answer to -"Do they have $10 dollar notes for the machine?"... "What notes?"- was the reply - "We don't have any notes." This blondie said that she does not understand me. It sounded like at point-blank -"I do not understand you!"....

   Staff were lovely however I purchased an infrared light bulb it was a blown bulb buy obviously didn't know till I got home. They replaced the bulb for me however the bulb only lasted approx 12 hrs of use over a 4 day period. The stores policy is not to replace used bulbs and to contact wholesaler who unfortunately is an Australian based company....the warrentey in the box states the store you purchase item from will replace in 14 day period. Shame the store won't follow this policy. Commerce commission contacted
