Dr Duncan has been amazing helping my dog with his ongoing allergy/skin saga. I only wish we had been able to see him earlier. He's really helped my dog feel much more comfortable, I highly recommend him.
My dog Bailey had tried various treatments and had multiple visits to the vet with little or no relief from hair loss, biting legs and feet. She was clearly in discomfort. Since she saw Duncan her hair has regrown, no biting of legs,paws or any skin. Recovered completely. Great service. Highly recommended. Our English Pointer was referred to Animal Dermatology with a myriad of symptoms. Duncan and Rosh worked as a team, wasting no time in testing to find the causes. That was a major exercise, involving a great deal of research. An unexpected advantage for us was that Duncan welcomed questions by email, indicative of the high level of care for all of us. Once causes were determined, treatment began and progressed to a very satisfactory conclusion. Matilda is once again, the happy, healthy dog she was. Our family are indebted to Duncan for his professional integrity, passion and perseverance.
Duncan and his team are amazing! Very professional but also approachable and empathetic. Duncan knows what he's doing. Our puppy immediately improved after getting his treatment and is a happy boy again.
12 months ago we adopted Kylie who had been in a terrible state, (see attached orig_condition photo). She had been having treatment for a food allergy and was on a allergenic kibble diet. antibiotics, anti-fungal tablets, and Apoquel anti itch tablets. The suspicion was that previous treatment was treating the symptoms and not the cause. We therefore got a referral to Duncan via our present vet. From the very first visit it became obvious that Duncan was the best chance Kylie had of living a normal life. Following his advice we ruled out a food allergy and discovered the real cause of the problem. A plan was then formed to fight the cause and not the symptom. (Dust-mite and Yeast allergy). Proof of Duncan's dedication, professionalism and deep knowledge of his subject can clearly be seen in the difference between the original condition, at adoption photos from the today1 and 2 photos. So thanks to Duncan and Animal Dermatology Kylie is now a happier and health dog.
