Very disappointed with the outcome of my partners trip to the vet wouldn't recommend. The women she dealt with was very rude and very rough with our new puppy. Never going back.
Excellent vet! They care for the animals extremely well. Answers to your questions are refreshingly short and blunt, and always focused on the health of the critter. Completely recommended.
Julia is an amazing and very skilled vet. Yesterday she cleaned our little dog Oskar’s teeth and removed one that was loose and infected. She also charged a very reasonable fee. Vet nurse Erica was also extremely kind and caring. I won’t ever go anywhere else anymore with Oskar when he needs medical attention.
Juilia, Muffy and others at Lakeside Veterinary Centre treated our feisty Bengal cat, LIa, with professional skill and loving care for Lia's life. We are extremely grateful that Julia and colleague were able to come to our house to help ease Lia's death when that became necessary. Lia was completely unstressed in her own home environment, on our lap, besides the fire. It was peaceful and quiet. This meant so much to her grieving human companions - with many thanks to Julia and everyone at Lakeside, Louise and George.
I wish I could add extra stars. The staff at Lakeside are always caring and sensitive to both my cat and myself. When ever I have to leave my cat in their care I can always leave her knowing that she is in the best place. It is always hard to leave her but I know she is always getting the best care possible. For the support I need and that they always provide I am always very grateful.
Julia is an amazing vet. Twice now in an emergency I've seen her go beyond the call of duty. The 1st time it was getting late and our cat was sick. Our usual vet insisted because of the time we should wait till the following morning. Concerned our cat may not make it till then we called several vets in our area. Despite not knowing us, Julia stayed open late to help with the emergency. The second time Julia also worked tirelessly outside usual work hours. Whitby is very fortunate to have someone this compassionate and dedicated to animals, pricing is reasonable too.
As always Julia is a professional, a love of animals, beware humans you are only their carers, she is not a doctor. My dogs are always well looked after by Julia, her staff and I highly recommend her.
Our 13yr old cat Humphrey has been working his way through his nine lives over the years: three abscesses, a hernia, a urinary tract blockage and most recently, a growth on his eye that needed to be removed. Julia has fixed all of them beautifully without any ongoing issues. I wouldn't go anywhere else - she definitely knows her stuff!
