I have been using Rappaw since my last vet wouldn’t refer my dog to their vet physio and want us to travel all the way to Napier to the one she recommended, not going to work for me. So made my own appointed for my dog to see the vet physio at Rappaws Tawa clinic. Have been with them ever since, They look after my pair of breeding Kelpies.
Easy, safe and calm environment. New puppy owner so full of questions - that they happily answered
Lovely, compassionate staff. A relaxed waiting area just for catamaran. All our furbabies go through Rappaw. Highly recommended. Made our visit the best it could be given the sad circumstances. Thank you for your care.
Visited Whitby clinic. Vet was amazing, knew how to handle a 6.1kg male cat. The vaccination and worm pill were dispensed with no hiccup at all.
We consider all of the Rappaw Veterinary Clinics the best in Wellington region. They are so friendly, treat our pets and us so well! Inform us of the situation on hand with our pets. Dont pressure and order us what they are doing or have done to make more money off our pet! Rappaw not only love their pet customers but actually like their human customers plus make an effort to get along with owners. Not about dollars at Rappaw. They are very experienced with all sized pets and dont judge based on size & behaviour & how scary the pet may seem. Where pets and humans are treated like royalty! Thankyou Rappaw, we have belief in vets now :-)
A great vet, very friendly and helpful staff. I have had to take my dog Ollie several times and he has never been scared or nervous to return. If anything he looks forward to visiting to say hello.
These fabulous humans saved our kitten when he was on the brink of no return. Every person we have met who works at Rappaw between 2 practices, have been amazing. So thankful to have these legends so close to home.

I had the sad pet owners duty to get my chicken euthanized. The "bird vet" Linda was amazing. She agreed with me that the prognosis was correct. She was so good! Gave me valuable insight into the issues that affect this particular breed of chicken. She was so knowledgeable about birds and super supportive. I know I "only" had a chicken, but when you own chickens as pets you'll understand and Linda does. Thanks Rappaw Whitby!
