   I can’t say enough good things about Pohutukawa Vet Clinic! Every time I visit, the team is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They go above and beyond to make both pets and owners feel supported, and their helpful approach takes all the stress out of vet visits. It’s clear they truly love what they do, and it shows in the way they treat every animal with such compassion. I’m so grateful to have such wonderful people looking after my furry family.    We transferred to Pohutukawa Coast vets 2 years ago for our senior dog, because we were looking for continuity of care. I wanted the vet to know our dog and our dog to know our vet, it was the best decision we made. Our dog passed recently at PC Vets with family with her at the end. It was such a comfort to know she was people that knew her and were doing the very best for her when she needed it most. We are forever grateful to you Christie, Conner and the rest of the team.

   This team have been our Vet for years now. Even when I moved to the other side of Auckland I continue to make the monthly visit to them for my dogs care. The whole team really care about their furry patients, and always put my mind at ease with my “challenging” little dog…you can’t go past these guys…special mention to Connor and Christie, just lovely people who are totally genuine through and through.

   I honestly can’t believe I haven’t written this sooner because Pohutukawa Coast Vets have done so much for me and my animals. My girl Nala was the first to go there when I wanted a second opinion, and from that day I knew we were in the right place. Christie went above and beyond for her, and when Nala was on her death bed she even came to our home. I will never forget that. Maggie has been incredible too. She cares for all of my birds and I trust her completely. She even gave Nala love and comfort at the emergency when Nala wasn’t even her patient, which meant the world to me. Maggie also personally helped with Nala when we decided to do a post mortem so we could have answers, and I’ll always be grateful for that. When Bam Bam passed away, the compassion I was shown was beyond words. I was absolutely devastated, and the team gave me a printed poem about the Rainbow Bridge which I still treasure. It truly helped me through the grief. The wonderful nurses Connor, Ani, Rebecca and Emma are just as amazing, always so kind, gentle, helpful and warm. This is why every bird I rescue now goes straight to Pohutukawa Coast Vets. I will forever be grateful and thankful for the love, care and kindness these amazing ladies have shown me and my family.

   We spend a lot of time here with our trouble maker dog! The team are absolutely fantastic, treat our dog with so much care and love (even when we have to rush her in 5min before closing!). Nothing is ever too much trouble, they are super friendly and really just so wonderful.

   The team are amazing. They treat our dog like he’s their own and because of this, can see straight away when things aren’t right. Their follow up care is brilliant. We have 100% trust in them and their advice. Despite visiting when he’s not been well, our dog still continues to run through the doors, tail wagging, every time he visits.
