   Clean, most staff are lovely and professional (although some of the admin and nursing staff should feel free to explain things without the snarky tone thank you) - however most staff are very good. Food has gone downhill unfortunately (chef yeah right) and their physios can be over the top with their expectations. But overall far better than being in hutt hospital! @Toni would love to know your specialist, name doesn't start with R does it. I feel for you. @Marcus yes we've had dramas with that staff member too but these days she seems better.

   My first impression of the staff and facilities was amazing, ive just had knee replacement surgery and my experience from the front receptionist, to prep op nurse, to surgery team amir and deano and soots my surgeon ,nurses jo, leona and phillipa has been first class all the way. The food was hearty and alot of variety. Ive had lots of fun and laughter along the way, so thankyou boulcott hospital for the care and support you've provided me ❤️

   My mil was a nurse at boulcott for most of her life and highly recommended the surgeons here. Unfortunately my experience was no better than a GP who doesn't turn their computer on. I was dismissed multiple times. Experienced misogyny and in the end was told don't know what your issue is and that was it. Didn't want to investigate further, no suggestions of what to do now. So I'm back at square one after three years of pain. I also have a rare disorder and not once did my "surgeon" research it but didn't want any info I could offer.

   Horrible experience with Dr Leilua and Christine the receptionist. Will be filing complaint with medical council and ombudsman. Was constantly provided with bad advice. No pain management for severe arthritis and was told to come off injections even though surgery hadn't yet been approved and he knew he would be away on holiday at the time he said it would take place. Horrible and disturbing that they believe that its okay to treat people this way.

   This review is not about the fantastic doctors that I seen, Mr withers and Doug were very lovely. The forefront staff at reception were nice except 1 staff member named Sue, I found her rude, because of an appointment mix up she made me feel I was to blame and phoned another receptionist while I was there and said she can’t be bothered dealing with it, her annoyance from this flowed on to me. I waited to be seen an can appreciate everyone is busy, after my appointment I was advised to go to reception to have another appointment made, as I got there Sue abruptly said “I’m making one” nothing else, that was it, so I walked off feeling like I was a big hindrance. Being the front face of a reputable hospital you would expect a standard of professionalism. You don’t know what goes on in a persons daily life, for future snarky comments it’s best to keep them to yourself instead of letting them overflow out to patients. Sue being the front face photo on the hospital website I would have expected better from her, maybe you were just having a bad day?

   My experience at Boulcott was lovely. I felt I got the best care from everyone involved; to the theatre team, my amazing surgeon Alex Popodich, the nurses, etc. The food exceeded my expectations. Especially the beef cheeks!! Restaurant quality. A lovely hospital with the greatest of care

   The nurses were so warm and full of positive energy, I enjoyed their company and conversations. Food at Boulcott hospital was delish and catered to special dietary requirements, whilst still keeping it fresh & gourmet. I was comfortable, happy & we'll looked after.
